I guess not—the hidden government - the behemoth of a bureaucracy that really runs our country will not give up the bidding of its masters.

Whole departments of the goverment need to be carved out and discarded into the dustbin of history ...soon before it’s too late.

I am not sure of what the listing of bills in the CR implies, so keep your guard up. But, I think the bill they voted on today was an older one the House passed and Reid was just trying to slip it through without having to vote on one of the Senate versions, of which there were 3 or 4.

The web site that I gave in my first post seems to be believable, though I think he is pro amnesty he seems to be watching it very closely and his earlier posts give a sense of the recent history.

But, keep your eyes wide open until we seat the next congress in January.

They want to divide the country, they want a shooting war, pay attention to the language that the kenyan and others have been using to describe anyone that does not agree with their agenda.

The federal debt is high treason.

Bullshit as to your post. We gnaw away while they tear. As one previous poster said, they ignore the will of the people and laugh at us ( picture Lindsey Graham) Until we instill FEAR in them, their actions will continue.

If GovTrack is correct (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-5281) it will go to Conference Committee.

- - The bill may now proceed to a conference committee of senators and representatives to work out differences in the versions of the bill each chamber approved. The bill then goes to the President before becoming law. [Last Updated: Dec 17, 2010 6:21AM]

However, it is confusing in that it says it will go to the President when the differences are worked out ... it does not say it goes back to each chamber to be voted on again.

Any changes in Conference Committee should require a floor vote in both houses of Congress.

It’s over for Congress and this administration.

Sir, as you have said twice in this thread, out of fear for retribution we dare not speak of what should happen. I fear no real change will come until these bastards fear the consequences of their uncharged crimes.

Charges by the regime only apply to those who oppose the regime. Somehow their election gives them authority that can only be ultimately taken away by force.

I can’t locate the text but to paraphrase Jefferson: We have made in the Constitution the best form of government we can. No form of government though can ever succeed unless the people of the government uphold moral and religious virtues.

These politicians we have now do not care what others think or see and I doubt that they believe even God is watching.

That is exactly what I thought ... however that is not what I am reading.

Dirty Harry is trying an end run, most were ‘lulled’ into thinking that the DREAM Act died today. Evidently not the case.

I am confident that a floor vote in both houses will be required. Still, I don’t want any more Senate votes on this issue. My heart cannot take it.

Ironic, isn’t it, that Congress is still going through all the appropriate legal motions...

These politicians we have now do not care what others think or see and I doubt that they believe even God is watching.

They do not. They answer calls and mail with contempt, even, at times. And I always address them the most respectful manner possible. They simply see themselves as rulers and, yes, royalty in a sense. Can it be that we as a nation no longer demand or even deserve a republican form of government? They have gone long ago down a road that is unconstitutional, and have succumbed to the temptations of office and power. Will the newly-elected understand that?

It won`t be over until it passes. The donks will hide it in every nook and cranny of every bill there is. And with their insistence that every bill must be passed before anyone can see what`s in it, it`s a foregone conclusion that the nightmare act will become law.

I think from this moment forward the first objective of the Tea Party activists should be term limits for the critters. No other options will suffice. Term limits term limits term limits.
