Steve King to Laura Ingraham: " I’m wondering if we look at the map of Arizona Congressman Grijalva’s congressional district, if we haven’t already ceded that component of Arizona to Mexico, judging by the voice that comes out of Grijalva. Grijalva’s advocating for Mexico rather than the United States and against the rule of law, which is one of the central pillars of American exceptionalism.

Grijalva believes Arizona's new law, which requires law enforcement officials to demand papers from anyone they suspect is in the country illegally, is racist and does little more than “propagate the idea separate but equal treatment under the law can be codified,” Grijalva said.

ACTION NOW Americans should act now. Arizona elected officials under oath like Grijalva who challenge the will of the people----that won’t enforce the new immigration law----are using public funds to aid and abet felonies against Arizona (and other US citizens).

FOR EXAMPLE (1) Investors in Arizona tax-exempt bonds werer clearly misled about the use of their tax-exempt investments. (2) Arizona elected officials under oath---like Grijalva--- who challenge the will of the people, who won’t enforce new immigration law have jeopardized investments in Arizona tax-exempt bonds

ACTION Do the research on timelines when Arizona legislators voted for the sale of billions of tax-exempt bonds to finance law enforcement, schools, highways, water facilities, municipal and county grants, etc, etc, etc. These bonds were then sold to tax-exempt investors.

Sometimes bond sales are voted upon---in state ballot referenda. Arizona public officials may have mis-stated uses of tax-exempt bonds on referenda ballots.

If immigrants illegals voted on tax-exempt bond issues, that could negate the bond revenue and subject the illegals to prosecution

MISLEADING BOND INVESTORS IS A SERIOUS CRIME Investors in Arizona tax-exempt bonds were clearly misled about the use of tax-exempt bond revenue. The SEC closely monitors tax-exempt bond sales. The SEC takes a dim view about misleading tax-exempt investors and the misuse of tax-exempt bond revenue. So does the IRS.

(1) Express your concerns about Arizona elected officials under oath like Grijalva who challenge the will of the people----that won’t enforce the new immigration law; this is a misappropriation of tax-exempt bond revenue.

(2) Contact the IRS to report suspected tax fraud and tax law violations by officials using tax-exempt bond revenue in ways not disclosed to investors.

(3) Arizona elected officials under oath like Grijalva officials who challenge the will of the people----that won’t enforce new immigration law have co-opted investors in tax-exempt bonds; they should be reported for fiduciary negligence.

Demand that banks holding Arizona tax-exempt bond revenue conduct an outside audit immediately and reveal their findings (or you will report banks to state and federal regulators).

Bond sales that were put to referendum are subject to penalties, since voters were misled about the uses of bond revenue.

The Arizona Secy of State should be asked to release all official documents filed WRT tax-exempt bond issues.

Arizona congressman-elect Raul Grijalva is a former member of (MECHA) according to a 1997 article in the Arizona Daily Wildcat. Did voters know that Grijalva is or was involved with an anti-American seditionist organization? Will he denounce MEChA now that he's headed to Washington? Will he represen ( MEChA viewpoints (rabidly anti-American) or the interests of the American people when he gets there? -- Grijalva also isn't happy about "civilian patrols" whose members are seeking to deter illegal immigration, and is in agreement with (meddlesome Mexicans ) that an investigation is needed into activities of Americans (not illegal aliens and their cheerleaders). REFERENCE In fiscal year 2008, the US government received 47,459 asylum claims and granted 10,743 - a decrease over the previous year's 54,957 applications and 12,807 approvals. Immigration attorneys insist that asylum applications won't spike if the administration expands protection to battered women.

MORE WAYS THAN ONE TO DRAIN THE US TREASURY Illegals are also crying "domestic violence" in order to collect.

"How are asylum authorities going to substantiate these claims when we know that domestic violence is a complicated thing," said Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the advocacy group Federation for American Immigration Reform. "This is getting the US into personal relationships, and that's not where asylum law ought to go."

Mehlman said his organization opposed expanding the asylum law (which was created in 1980 largely as a means for Communist Bloc citizens to defect while visiting the US in a diplomatic role.) Backers of the law at the time estimated that claims would average around 5,000 a year and drop off significantly after the Cold War ended...........but that never happened.

Just change the state to IL and the name to former cab driver, Luis Gutierrez, and you got the same thing. These pigs need to be exposed and run out of town back to Mexico.

REFERENCE Over and above the millions who violate our borders, 1.5 million legal foreign workers come to the US each year, as a matter of course.

But this number isn’t high enough for Dem Cong Gutierrez and his 92 co-sponsors. Their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill includes a provision called “recapture” that will add up all the supposedly “unused” work visas since 1992 and issue them immediately.

This is a complete fraud, as all unused work visas are rolled over to the family reunification category the next year as it is.

Gutierrez' Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill will create 100,000 visas from countries that send the most illegal immigrants every year. According to the State Department, this will mean 550,000 new foreign workers.

AND GET THIS Mexico is the staging area for Third World and other illegals preparing to violate our borders. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill rewards Mexico b/c they calculatedly promote illegal immigration.

Gutierrez' bill will make it much easier for more illegal aliens to break in. Under the Bill, to prove they have jobs and were in the country BEFORE Congress passed amnesty, illegals are allowed to use stolen ID's, fake green cards, and fraudulent SS numbers....... without fear of prosecution.

Mexico facilitates the profitable staging area for global illegals to cross the border. Contrary to Obama’s claim that CIR bill will increase border security, it does just the opposite.........

Husband And Wife Plead Guilty To Massive Florida Straw Buyer Scheme

Juan and Rachael Torrens pled guilty to conspiracy charges in connection with their participation in a recent multi-million dollar mortgage fraud scheme in South Florida. The defendants acknowledged as part of their guilty plea that their scheme produced over $15,000,000 in fraudulent loans, and resulted in losses of over $5,000,000 to various lenders. With Juan and Rachael Torrens‘ guilty pleas, 15 of the original 31 defendants charged have pled guilty.

As previously reported by Mortgage Fraud Blog, defendants Juan Torrens, the de facto owner of Amsouth Trust & Investment Corp. (”Amsouth”) and president of Countryside Land & Development, Inc., Rachael Torrens, president of 1st Choice Realty of South Florida, Inc. and de facto owner of First United Mortgage USA Corp., Daniel Ramos, Alfonso A. Muxo, a State of Florida certified real estate appraiser and owner of Palm Bay Real Estate Appraisals, Inc., and Katherine Harris, former president and part owner of Floridian Home Title Corporation, were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and/or wire fraud for their participation in this massive mortgage fraud scheme. The scheme involved fraudulent mortgage loans obtained for the purchase of 28 properties located in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida, and in the City of Marco Island. All except Katherine Harris have already pled guilty, and are awaiting sentence.

The Indictment also charges defendants Mario E. Diaz, Aurelio Pozo, Oscar Barreiro, Lellany Rordriguez, Jose Asensi, Carlos Morales, Damaris Jimenez, Lizabeth Perez, Mario Blanco, Rene Rodriguez, Tamaris Angulo, Alicia Loaiza, Ester Crespo, Jesus Enrique Guevara, Janette Lugo, Priscilla Fleitas, Erick Clavijo, Luis DeJesus Planas, Moises Llorens, Milva Roque, Aurora Ramentol, Gladys Lens, Nancy Fundora, Yanny Cruz Pavon, Roger Rosario and Jacqueline Perez-Castillo ("the straw buyer defendants") with wire fraud for their participation in this mortgage fraud scheme.

To date, guilty pleas have been entered by defendants Aurelio Pozo, Oscar Barreiro, Carlos Morales, Damaris Jimenez, Mario Blanco, Jesus Enrique Guevara, Janette Lugo, Priscilla Fleitas, Moises Llorens, Gladys Lens, and Roger Rosario.

According to the Indictment, Juan Torrens would identify sellers of residential properties who were willing to overstate the true selling price of their properties. Daniel Ramos and Juan Torrens would then recruit and pay the straw buyer defendants to pose as buyers and ostensibly participate in the purchase of the selected properties.

Defendants Rachael Torrens and Juan Torrens would prepare fraudulent mortgage loan applications for the straw purchasers that included false employment verifications, pay stubs, income and funds on deposit, and IRS Forms W-2.

Thereafter, to support the overstated sales prices on the properties and the fraudulent mortgage applications, defendant Alonso A. Muxo would prepare fraudulent appraisals attesting to the inflated property values dictated by Juan Torrens. Roger Rosario, an employee of Regions Bank, assisted the fraud by providing, on at least one occasion, a fraudulent verification of deposit in connection with a mortgage loan application for one of the straw buyer defendants.

To effectuate the scheme, defendants Juan Torrens and Rachael Torrens, together with the straw buyer defendants, would create and submit to the banks and lending institutions HUD-Settlement Statement Forms, also known as HUD-1s, which falsely stated that the straw buyers brought their own funds to the closings.

Once the mortgage applications were approved, the lenders would wire the loan proceeds to the title company, Floridian Home Title, for closing.

At closing, Amsouth, a company owned and controlled by Juan Torrens, would receive a credit for the difference between the inflated price and the actual selling price of the property. Defendants Juan and Rachael Torrens would make the payments on the mortgage loans to maintain the loans afloat until the properties could be resold again, often to another straw buyer. When the Torrenses failed to make payments on the loans, some properties went into foreclosure, resulting in substantial losses to the lending institutions.

Florida once again was rated the top state for mortgage fraud, according to a report released Monday by the LexisNexis Mortgage Asset Research Institute.
Florida also held the annual report's top spot in 2006 and 2007, but was replaced in 2008 by Rhode Island. New York was in second place behind Florida in 2009, followed by California.
The Miami-Fort Lauderdale region ranked fourth among the metropolitan areas studied, institute researchers found, accounting for 4 percent of all mortgage fraud reported nationwide. The New York-New Jersey-Long Island area was first, followed by Los Angeles-Riverside and the tri-state Chicago-Gary-Kenosha region. .....

Foreclosure fraud investigation - SS, 2010 April 29

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum's office is conducting a civil investigation into allegations that one of Florida's largest foreclosure law firms Florida Default Law Group is giving courts faulty or fabricated paperwork. The AG's web site says its Economic Crimes Unit in Fort Lauderdale is looking into charges that the faulty paperwork is "due to the mortgage crisis and thousands of foreclosures per month." .....
