Who’s Ambush is Netanyahu Dodging? [Obama out-Arab's the Arabs]
Fox News ^ | 4-9-10

A high-level Arab source tells Fox News that Arab countries had no intention of raising Israel's undisclosed nuclear program at next week's Nuclear Security Summit in Washington.

The diplomat, who is involved in the conference asked not to be named, said this was a way for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to dodge President Obama and avoid committing to peace talks.

Sources close to the prime minister tell Fox that Netanyahu had "every intention" of attending, but when he realized some Arab countries planned on "bashing" Israel into signing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty--which would mean Israel's undisclosed nuclear program would be monitored--Israel decided to pull out the prime minister.

Israeli officials won't disclose where they got the information that Arab leaders plan to raise the issue. They announced they will instead send Deputy Prime Minister and Intelligence Affairs Minister Dan Meridor to represent Israel.

The Arab source says next week's summit is not the proper venue in which to raise such a matter.

The initial report on the reason for the cancelation. US hostility makes more sense. The Arab states are frequently clumsy diplomats, and their hostility to Israel is well known, but from the perspective of the treatment of an ally rather than an enemy, our administration surpass' them.

He is dodging more humiliation at the hands of our president. The Jews in this country to voted for him the first time around need to support whoever Obama’s opponent is in 2012.

They probably will, only if it is another Democrat.
Like Blacks the Democratic Party can count on their vote, even while the Party tramples on them, battered wife syndrome.

Obama lies. Arabs lie. Politicians in general lie. One has to look at the overall picture to judge that which is, or isn’t for oneself.

I’ll go with the Arabs, and Obama were laying a trap. Their track record says so.

I think you are correct about the trap scenario.

Netanyahu probably subscribes to the “fool me once
shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me” theory.

My God, what a sad day when we have to sit and comment on the PM of Israel having to watch out for a trap from the POTUS.

Pray for Israel, pray for Bibi.

And what an abusive relationship. You’d have thought WWII would have made the Jews more aware of the danger they are in at this time. Guess not...Sad.

I think Bibi believed Obama was going to lay a trap for him and ask Israel to surrender its nukes in return for Iran not getting nukes or some insanity of that sort.

I also think Obama's meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan was going to be a set-up for another confrontation with Netanyahu.

He was right to stay far away. He shouldn't have said yes in the first place, but I'm sure Obama was insistent.

Bibi's had enough of taking Obama's orders. As November inches closer, Bibi is betting that he is more popular than Obama and Congress will be afraid to back Obama on an bashing of Israel wildly unpopular with the American people, and he'll be right, too.

Would Netanyahu have to disclose the amount of nuclear arms in Israel? If so it’s wise he doesn’t set foot near this treaty especially when Russia has always come to the aide of Israel’s enemies, and the WH certainly doesn’t like Israel.

A good and, IMO accurate analysis. We are in “interesting” and
dangerous times.

The history of the Holocaust same for the racist treatment of Blacks by the Democratic Party has both been lost to the Jews and Blacks.

I believe the Democratic Controlled School System embarked on a process of “reeducation” in the 1960’s that is now reaching what they would consider fruition.

I wish someone could name a single Republican Governor, Representative or Senator that lynched Blacks, prevented them from voting, used fire hoses, or belonged to the KKK, or supported the Actions of Nazi Germany.

Statement by President Barack Obama on the Release of Nuclear Posture Review 4/6/10

“Second, we are further emphasizing the importance of nations meeting their NPT and nuclear non-proliferation obligations through our declaratory policy. The United States is declaring that we will not use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear weapons states that are party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and in compliance with their nuclear nonproliferation obligations. This enables us to sustain our nuclear deterrent for the narrower range of contingencies in which these weapons may still play a role, while providing an additional incentive for nations to meet their NPT obligations. Those nations that fail to meet their obligations will therefore find themselves more isolated, and will recognize that the pursuit of nuclear weapons will not make them more secure.”

With this statement Obama is casting Israel to the winds of fate. He is telling them they either bend to his will or find themselves even more isolated.

Unfortunately you are right. The GOP needs to do a better job at spelling out why conservatism would work better in black peoples favor. There is only so much educating I can do.
