'Miss Me Yet?' Billboard With Photo Of Bush Is Real; Not An Internet Trick
NPR ^ | February 8, 2010 | By Mark Memmott

Internet chatter had led to speculation that it might be an urban myth -- nothing more than clever digital trickery spreading via the Web.

But our friend Bob Collins at Minnesota Public Radio assures us he's seen it with his own eyes:

There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: "Miss Me Yet?"

Just another Bush bashing thread. I get so tired of them. What am I saying... must threads about a politician ends up a bashing thread. Yawn!

Mean ‘Ol Billboard
Tuesday, February 09, 2010

There’s a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, MN, with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush that asks the question: “Miss Me Yet?”

Gateway Pundit says YES. TrogloPundit wants to buy the guy who paid for it a beer. Red State thinks it’s damn funny. Another Black Conservative asks how’s that Hopey-Changey thing is working out? Ruby Slippers goes so far as to speculate that a groundswell is building for more such billboards.

Take heart America. Yet another billboard has been spotted.

I'd say that's a good bet, seems to me he would have had to have some help though, that was a pretty big draw down in a very short time.....the Saudis?

How’s that “NO MORE RINOS” thing working out for you sport. You might be for political shock therapy but I think it is a heck of a remedy.

Bush-Bot - You got anything besides catchwords?

Hey all ... just dusting this off from 2006. I knew I was going to need this as a reminder ....

By fishtank...updated Dec. 6, 2006

Here’s what a “conservative” is supposed to be?

* Doing his very best to destroy American sovereignty by melding America into Mexico into Canada???

* George W. Bush (43): “I looked the man in the eye. I was able to get a sense of his soul.
I knew that President Putin was a man with whom I could work.”

* Allowed his wife to call a homosexual partner’s mom the “mother-in-law” ???

* Allowed the new Iraqi constitution to have a clause where no law would contradict Islam.

* Wanted to sell US port operations to Dubai - a nation that supports terror.

* Advocates a completely open border - to the detriment of national security.

* Calls the Minutemen “vigilantes”.

* Continually calls Islam a “religion of peace”.

* Pursues “free trade”, not fair trade. “Free trade” has not been very fair, so far.

* Supported Specter over Toomey.

* Told Hush to host Specter with softballs, and then Hush carries the water.

* Continually supported Linc Chaffee, and what did it win in the long run?

* Let Ted Kennedy write the education bill.

* Did nothing to rein in pork barrel government spending.

* In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God. “I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty,” Bush said.

[ he(G.W.) was not corrupt, represented the country with strength, grace and dignity. There is so much to hate - why waste time on ex-President Bush. ]

The democrats USED him as easily as they USED his father..
He was very easy to use.. almost like it was PLANNED...
A normal man would be pissed off at that.. G.W. is not..

Its true McLame is also very easy to USE.. by democrats..
Hopefully Palin will not like being politically RAPED by the democrats..

No means NO... and Hell no, means WAR... the Civil War has already started..

That may be true, but this guy is an improvement? At least with Bush you didn’t have to worry if he was on our side or the Taliban & Al Quedas.

I’ll take Bush any day over Barry. I may not have agreed with everything he did, but I don’t agree with anything Obama does.

I miss Bush.

Amen.

Amen.

When Reagan left office, GWB convinced us he would be the third term of Reagan, so he got elected.

But GWB was the first term of the RINO-NWO, and then we got the second and third terms of the RINO-NWO from his son.

“I’d love to know who triggered that.”

That is the big issue that no one in the MSM or Washington will even touch.

Hope someone, in 2010 or 2012, will pull on that thread and the whole thing comes undone.

Actually I've never heard him refer to the US as a republic..

Don’t be too hard on McCain. Obama won because of white guilt.

Don’t laugh. Everybody up here in the Great White North in Washington had an orgy patting themselves on the back after Obama won. White middle class professionals had the daily newspaper announcing his win framed professionally and hung in their offices.

White people in America came out for him in droves to prove to themselves that they weren’t racists, despite the man’s lack of qualifications. They helped break the color barrier to the White House, and they are part of history.

Like every other part of Obama’s coalition, this group of white middle and upper class people got stiffed. Worse, this is the largest special interest group in his coalition. The taxes, and the giant medical overhaul, and cap and trade, and ‘how dare you go to Vegas’, and you get Democrats losing elections in places where it would have never been dreamed possible.

It’s what Democrats DO NOT understand - they never had a mandate, ever. What they had was a lot of people pissed off about being labeled ‘racists’.

Anyway, once it became clear that they were going to make war on the economy, on jobs, on civil liberties, the wheels came off, and they lost Massachusetts. Obama’s stuck with the angry Kos kids, the Huffingtons, Code Pink, and they are all pissed at him too.

McCain, he never really had a shot. He ran as ‘the other white meat’ and tried to be everything to everybody, when Obama was trying to make history.

He never really had much of a plan beyond that, ever, and now it shows.

Nobody is talking about any of this, because the blame has to be laid at the feet of the mainstream media. Louder than anyone after the election, they praised the American people, from Asia to Europe, as being so progressive as to elect a black man to the leader of the free world.

Even the Europeans weren’t all that concerned about his qualifications. America is to blame for everything anyway, how much stupider can Obama be than Bush?

Well, now they know, and we do too.

Just came in from Tulsa to MPLS

I gotta ask...(off topic) is that stretch of I-35 thru Oklahoma still as full of potholes as it was five years ago? I-35 in that area was like driving through a minefield.

Me, too!! So many of us knew full well
the doom that was about to befall us,
and how grateful we were for the peace
of the security we slept with every night
with Pres. Bush at the helm. God bless him!

That’s true, I lived in Austin in 1999, when he was still governor. And Texans LIKED him then, well not so much in Austin, but then that is something of an anomaly in Texas. But you are right, he was considered a moderate in Texas.

Oh I miss him. Barry isn’t even in the same Ball park in terms of either professionalism, intellect, or simple class. There is no area that Barry is even close to being on equal footing with Dubbya.
