Our Freeper Friend Jeff Head was diagnosed
with a serious (they all are to me) form of cancer
just before Christmas

Please help me approach the prayer throne for our friend Jeff Head who is in Houston currently from his home in Idaho to have surgery & treatment at MD Anderson for his cancer. He will be able to respond on occasion.

You might know him for many reasons.. His great mind & posts on this forum .. at which he was Freeper of the year in 2001. He is an Activist, Author, Man of God, Devoted Family Man(father of 6; grandfather of 5) and friend to many.

Father we pray for our friend Jeff. May he find your perfect peace as he continues to trust you with his life. Give the surgeons and medical personnel wisdom and perfect skill in treating him. Brother Jeff, I know this is not a development you were hoping for, and the prayers and support continue, from all of us lifting you up, asking God to strengthen you, beseeching the Throne for a miraculous healing.

You're in a battle for your life, that's no secret. You are fighting that good fight, and you're feeling tired and weary but your decision to pursue the possibility of Carbon Ion Radiation is the right thing to do, and I will be praying for a 'good report' on your getting that treatment.

Meanwhile, while I cannot imagine how you are truly feeling and thinking, I've been pondering the fact that in this world, we find ourselves in a continual battlefield between good and evil, and our enemy the Devil seeks to rob, kill and destroy.

The Lord Jesus is your (and our) Commander-in-Chief, and if He be for us, who can be against us? If you can, try to work up some good old fashioned indignation at the Devil if you hear any whispers about it being 'too late' or 'time to give up', it's never time to give up, and I urge you to emulate a great American General, Anthony McAuliffe, he was the guy commanding the 101st Airborne during the Battle of the Bulge, and you know what he's famous for, when he received an ultimatum and demand to surrender from the Nazis, he responded with one word: "NUTS!"

So to anyone and anything who suggests to you, our dear Brother, that it's time to quit, we join with you with a great big ol' thunderous,
