I got my Susan Boyle CD tonight and am listening to it for the third time!

I am “obsessive” now...just like reading Sarah cover to cover one day.

Sorry to hear Rochester cops and families are going through this tonight.

Half my family still lives in upstate NYS. It is my understanding they recruited Swedes and other hearty folk to work the lands, etc.

JoysKid lives and has land south of the city right adjacent to the NY State Thruway.

Other children are VA and FL now.

OK...glad I don’t have to check out the police names for friends then...well even if injured I guess I do, don’t I?

Most friends are retired, but so many boys follow their Dad’s in that line of work.

Truth hurts, don’t it.

Unfortunately for four good men, the Huckster’s past foolhardy lack of good judgment proved fatal.

I just read it and that Driving Park location is definitely outside the city and away from the Central Park, Amtrack Station, and run-down warehouse area. It is approaching the Eastman Kodak area.

Yes, it is across the Genesee River as OneMiddleAmerican said.

Latest story says the Chief is at the hospital, so you can see this is a “special occasion” not often repeated in Rochester.

I will have to check on it in the AM....sleepy now!

Please read the report on how that came about. There were so many people who instigated that action and had to approve it, I believe the guy must have been a great con man.

Tragic and I am sure he feels terrible, but there is lots of blame to go around there. Oh, buy the way, I am not a Huckabee supporter.

I too concur. Only small minded people resort to comments of that type IMHO.

I do not regret my admiration for W

Surely didn't set your standards high, did you? I can think of 17 Republican Presidents who were more intelligent, more articulate, and definitely wiser than W (we've had 18 Republicans as President so far).

No, people who are are logically responsible for letting violent criminals out of jail should be held responsible if someone dies as a result. Yes... that means to be found hanging from a lamp post.

Please read the report on how that came about.

It probably involved poor numerical literacy. If you release 700+ felonious scumbags, at least a few of them will go on to commit notorious crimes. That is a mathematical certainty.
