Climategate: White House Involvement in Scandal Will Make It Harder for MSM to Ignore
NewsBusters ^ | November 26, 2009 | P.J. Gladnick

Posted on 11/26/2009 5:28:16 AM PST by PJ-Comix

Yesterday Brian Williams delivered an NBC Nightly News report about President Obama attending the Copenhagen global warming summit. Guess what hot topic was left untouched? If you had guessed Climategate you would have been correct. Not only Williams but also the other TV networks, with the exception of FOX News, have completely ignored what is considered to be the biggest scientific scandal in history. However, new Climategate revelations made by the Canada Free Press about a White House connection to the scandal will soon make it much more difficult (and ridiculous) for the networks to ignore.

Canada Free Press editor Judi McLeod and Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball reveal the involvement of White House Science Czar John Holdren (photo) in the Climategate Scandal. The picture presented of Holdren is not a pretty one:

Lift up a rock and another snake comes slithering out from the ongoing University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) scandal, now riding as “Climategate”.

Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal. In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”.

” and they will be loathe to approve spending for bills based on fraudulent science “

Unfortunately, our elected ‘representatives’ have shown that the only things they’re not going to factor in to their legislation are ‘common sense’, and the wishes of the people they ‘represent’.....

Unless this grows a lot bigger, and more embarrassing, it won’t even be a speed bump....

>>>> "This is getting really rich. Holdren was closely associated with Paul Ehrlich, the nutjob from Stanford who predicted at one point that by the year 2000, only 22 million Americans would be alive." <<<<

Wasn't he the author of THE POPULATION BOMB - or one of the authors?

I wonder how Holdren met him?

“White House Involvement in Scandal Will Make It Harder for MSM to Ignore”

I’d have thought it would make it easier for them to ignore, the way today’s media are.

When Ike issued his farewell address in January 1961, he cautioned us to keep a wary eye on the growing "Military Industrial Complex;" and admonition which the left eagerly embraced, and repeatedly trumpets to this day.

The Military Industrial complex was however, only one of two disturbing trends that Ike warned us of, and the left has somehow completely managed to conveniently ignore the second, which seemed to have manifested itself in "cllimategate"...

"Akin to, and largely responsible for the sweeping changes in our industrial-military posture, has been the technological revolution during recent decades.

In this revolution, research has become central, it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."

They will continue to ignore it for they are not “mainstream” by any definition.

They are the Corrupt Liberal Media, not the “Mainstream” media. The operative word here is “corrupt”

If the Corrupt Liberal Media(CLM) replaced the “mainstream” media as the household word then it would irk the CLM to no end.

Fits in perfectly with the Chicago thugs.

The two physicists who brought up the facts about the Medieval Warming period (when there were wineries in Great Britain) were mocked and derided by Holdren because their observations did not fit in with the idea we are now in the period of the greatest global warming in human history.

No problem -- Zero will come out and give the pooh-pooh waving hand it's-all-irrelevant, and his idiot supporters will feel happy again. Their unhappiness stemmed from his failure to counteract the lies of the climate change deniers.

Climategate: White House Involvement in Scandal Will Make It Harder for MSM to Ignore Don't worry they will find a way.
"In an attempt to discredit settled science, as well as incrimating the White House, Republican wingnuts just released faked documents on Global Warming. What does out panel think about this latest agregious outrage by Bush and Palin supporters?" First TakingHead "Palin doesn't stand a chance in the next presidential election because the polls all show..." Second TakingHead (talking over First TakingHead: "The whole problem is the 10 trillion dollar debt Obama inherited from Bush!" etc.

It will require the biggest political coverup in history.

That's been going on for some time, and will continue. We are all hoping that it ceases to be successful.

IMO, Carol Browner's statements tell us what is likely to happen. No matter how much is exposed, no matter what percentage of the population is against it, the Dems are going ram "climate change" taxes and schemes up our butts as if we were turkeys for stuffing.

The left's assault on America is in full frontal mode. No more feints, no more smokescreens or dissembling about how they are doing the people's will. They have admitted out loud, they are here to rule.

This scandal is expanding in scope, another climate research institute has been caught red-handed at modifying their data.

NIWA the NIWA, National Institute of Water & Atmospheric Research in New Zealand. They must have released the raw data of their measurements and found that only their version showed a warming trend, others used the data and it had no warming trend.

It’ll be interesting to see how long the MSM can continue their insane embargo against the biggest scientific scandal in history.

That’s not how I read it. It’s clear that Holdren thought those two scientists were wrong. That’s not a crime. He does put “Harvard” in quotes when these two scientists were indeed from Harvard. It suggests perhaps a certain amount of arrogance and bias, but even then, we don’t know the full context of those quotation marks.

Just looking at the evidence, I don’t see how Holdren is implicated.

"The ostrich’s head in the sand does not protect it from the lion."

With all due respect, your authorship, you misspelled "lyin'".

It's not just 'another' institution - it is ALL of them.

There is no case where these proponents of AGW having published their 'peer-reviewed' hysterio-novellas on AGW can be scientifically rigorous or valid. They are ALL lying and covering up the nasty truth of the Church of Climatology.
