He received an Edward R. Murrow award for his work on Chicago Public Radios website in 2006.
As a media artist, Michael’s work has been presented at venues across the country including The Steppenwolf, The American Theatre Company, The Woolly Mammoth, PS 122, The Public, HERE, The Ohio, The Chicago MCA, The Kitchen, The Wexner, The Southern, and many others. He has lectured at Northwestern University and UNC Chapel HIll.
