Hey frickin “Maggot”. You do not own this website and I am free to post whenever/wherever. The reason I posted on this particular subject is because I am prior military (Marines and Army) and I was disappointed to see people congratulating this soldier. Until you serve your time in the Military and understand the culture, I would suggest you PCS to another planet.

Now the birthers are doing some real damage to their country. They ought to be ashamed of themsleves.

Under the guise of the Constitution, they are actually undermining it.

I don't like the fact Zero is commander in chief, but he is, and under the constitution that means the military must listen to him. If Keyes, Berg and the rest of the birthers continue to undermine his authority with the troops, they will be undermining the constitution and will eventually end up with blood on their hands.

Free Republic is getting infested with some *very weird thinking* of late....

Any site that allows large numbers of people to post will attract a fair number of deranged people.

As deranged and rational folk tend not to like to associate with one another, the deranged folk will tend to cluster on the wierd threads, and the rational folk will tend to stay away from them. Thus if you only look at the wierd threads, you will get a biased sample of overall Freeper membership.

If you go on threads that deal with more mainstream issues, you will get a much better balance.

People like us, rational folk who who enjoy debunking wierd conspiracy theories of deranged folk, are in a minority.

Now, the military could tell him not to join in as a plaintiff, because questioning the Commander in Chief like that is against the military rules and regulations. And if he refuses to abandon it, then he can be prosecuted under the military law.

It's an interestiong situation though. Questioning Obama's eligibility to serve as the Commander in Chief is fundamentally different from questioning the Commander in Chief. There may be quite a few officers, even senior ones, who would not see the question as against the military rules and regulations.
