So many problems with this story...difficult to begin. First of all the parents should be shot...letting him stay with that freak. What were they thinking???? And overnight stays to boot. Secondly, why did the wife allow for this to happen? Yes I know that husbands and wives are not together 24/7, but it was under their roofs. Third...baptists never have this type of situation according to many who were dissing the Catholic Priests a while back....Where are those FREEPERS now???????

I'm not one of those people but the difference was what the leadership did! Cover-ups, transferring abusers to new parishes where they were free to continue. The refusal of many in leadership to protect the flock is what the scandal was about.
