Email Sarah Palin: PALIN '12 a must!!! (Vanity)
Aussie Dasher | 6 November 2008 | Aussie Dasher

Posted on 11/05/2008 7:15:27 PM PST by Aussie Dasher

Let's face facts: without Sarah Palin on the ticket the GOP would have been wiped out.

It'd be kinda nice for us to email Gov Palin with thanks and urging her on to bigger and better things in 2012.

Her email address is: http://gov.state.ak.us/govmail.php

I think you may be right about that. The tone was so “daddy, don’t hit me” if you know what I mean. The radio hosts are so much worse. The exception is Mark Levin. God he’s great.

Palin was McCain's choice, and now that he's gone, we can go about finding our own candidate. I've been looking at potentials for the past twenty-four hours, and have come across three who blow Palin out of the water.
So let's not settle on the brand name when there is so much more out there.

Exactly! I have read no fewer than three different people today pushing Hunter again. People need to get this stuff out of their heads, no third party, no primary has-beens...BTW I like Michael Steele a lot and would have gladly voted for him.

This is now posted on Redstate: (apparently they don't like anonymous media sources either)

Operation Leper Posted by: Erick Erickson

Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10:43PM CST

RedState is pleased to announce it is engaging in a special project: Operation Leper.

We're tracking down all the people from the McCain campaign now whispering smears against Governor Palin to Carl Cameron and others. Michelle Malkin has the details.

We intend to constantly remind the base about these people, monitor who they are working for, and, when 2012 rolls around, see which candidates hire them. Naturally then, you'll see us go to war against those candidates.

It is our expressed intention to make these few people political lepers.

They'll just have to be stuck at CBS with Katie's failed ratings.

How’s about we finish counting the votes from this election first, eh?

If there is anything we should have learned, it s that we should be very wary of unnamed sources. People in the McCain campaign may be trying to find a scapegoat as a way to protect their own reputation and reputation. In addition, supporters of other possible 2012 contenders may be trying to dampen enthusiasm for Governor Palin.

We all owe Governor Palin a debt for carring the fight to the opposition this year. We need her as a Republican leader, and we have plenty of time to evaluate her as a possible 2012 contender. At this time, we all need to remember Ronald Reagan’s eleventh commandment: “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

We need a big tent that includes lots of folks if we want to win elections. Our arguments among ourselves need to be over policy matters and need to avoid what often amounts to little more than petty name calling. And we certainly need to ignore anyone who, while claiming to be a Republican, anonymously speaks ill of any other Republican. If some accuser does not have the courage to speak openly and subject himself or herself to “cross examination,” then that accuser should be ignored.

Interesting if irrelevant. I compared nothing.

I wrote “WHEN any of these people can get 60,000...” I didn’t say they would never be able to, nor did I compare Palin’s 60,000 in Florida during a VP run to Steele’s crowds as Lt. Gov. or Jindal’s crowds as Gov.

Some here seem to actually buy the crap laid out on her. She is being taken out as being stupid. I do not buy it. It is crap, and petty. They don’t want her around to be in the fight in the future. It will be what it will be, I have faith Palin can do it. She is way smarter than thinking Africa is a country.

Mark Levin is great and does a great show.

If you haven't already, read Men In Black, it's a great history lesson and very educational too.

I listen to Rush daily and he's his same self, came out swinging hard yesterday.

I think we better hang on hard because we're in for times like we never could have imagined. (war and economy wise) We're gonna get "change" alright.

I am not throwing anyone under the bus. And yes my sister has worked on many State campaigns and I know how the blame placing goes when you lose. Sarah is the only reason I voted for Juan. I was going to sit this one out based solely on my strong long term distaste for John McCain, but Sarah changed that. That said I am not sure she is ready at this time for the big boy’s seat. She has even intimated in recent interviews that she is not interested in running again on the national stage so who knows. 4 years may change that or 4 years from now we may have someone brand new that we don’t even know about yet. My first choice right now is Jindal, but who knows moving forward.

My concern is there are too many around here that get overly wrapped up in personalities and won’t look at facts if they don’t agree with them. I am not putting you in this category, but there are many here like that. It makes no difference how much you like someone or agree with someone if they are unelectable. I am not saying Sarah is unelectable in 2012, but I want to know a lot more about her before I make that decision.

Well then you didn’t listen to the same interview I listened to. He named one person by name who was actually her main supporter in the campaign who thought by bringing this up he was doing the right thing. Obviously I wish I had written down his name, but it was not someone I had every heard of so the name did not resonate. As for being an idiot, those who cover their ears and shout I don’t hear you over and over because they don’t like the facts, are not just the true idiots but immature ones at that.

I agree she will make a great spokesperson for the conservative wing of the party, other than that we will see.

She’s been typecast, it’s a shame too...but it’s time to move on.

Reagan was typecast, too. If conservatives abandoned him, where would the conservative movement be today.

If you don't think Jindal, Sanford or any other conservative is going to get the same treatment from the MSM, you're kidding yourself.

"Well then you didn’t listen to the same interview I listened to. He named one person by name who was actually her main supporter in the campaign who thought by bringing this up he was doing the right thing."

Explain to me then, why nobody but you is claiming that Carl stated who made the ridiculous claims about Palin. Allow me to quote him..."We are told by folks." That is not a name. And only a media numbed fool would take it as any more than a fraudulant effort to do what the media always does...trash Republicans.

As I posted previously, Redstate has started an effort to not only find out who made the claims, but to also find out who they are associated with, and follow them where ever they go to ensure any Republican who works with them gets labeled with their disease.

No. Sarah is not our leader. Please, start your own fan club, make yourself president, but please, stop speaking the Republican Party and it’s members. We never said you could, and you’re doing such a piss poor job of it.

Now before you tell me to get out of YOUR party as you’ve told others. I’ll make it clear to you junior: I’ll leave when they quit cashing my checks, and they quit asking me out to dinner.
