Socialist and community activist Saul Alinksy taught organizers to ridicule opponents when the arguments of their opponents could not be refuted by logic, evidence or argument. He advocated denying the truth or just plain lying. In Alinksy's world, the end always justified the means.

Alinsky's acolytes on the left have learned the lesson well. Because they dare not address the questions raised, they attack the one asking the questions.

Supporters of Barack Obama are in paroxysms over Jerome R. Corsi's best-seller "The Obama Nation," attacking the 304-page book and its author on minor details contained within its pages, while deliberately ignoring and obfuscating the larger points Corsi makes about Obama's questionable alliances, practices and qualifications for president.

During an interview I did with Dr. Corsi on my radio program Aug. 9, he said there are questions Obama must answer or he won't get elected:

I want the reader to understand that it is not accidental that I'm able to pin Barack Obama down as an extreme socialist or leftist, because Obama gives me enough clues in his own writings that I know exactly what it means.

I tried in "Obama Nation" to write about it in a clear and simple, easy-to-read way so the reader will be illuminated as to what Obama's talking about, what his context is.

It's why Obama won't be able to answer this book because Obama's going to read this book – if he ever does … and say, "OK, Corsi knows what he's talking about." He's going to have to admit that. If he doesn't want to admit that, then he's not being intellectually honest.

WHO IS SAUL ALINKSY?

My piece focuses on the Left's tactics, and how they're using them to hammer Dr. Jerry Corsi for the legitimate questions and issues he raises in his best selling book The Obama Nation. I wrote it for the Freedom Journalism Center, following a 90-minute interview with Dr. Corsi on my radio program a week or so ago. While reading The Obama Nation I'd noticed the virulent attacks by the Left on Corsi and his book.

These are the very tactics advocated and taught by the socialist Saul Alinsky, whose students include Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. When you can't defend, attack. Smear. Discredit.

On the opening page of Rules for Radicals, Alinksy quotes himself saying, "Let us not forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where the mythology leaves off and history begins - or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer."

That’s the perfect “only a flesh wound” spin! He and his followers were cast out of perfection (heaven), but he “won his own kingdom”! Or maybe Michael Keaton in “Beelzebub”, when his response to having his head shrunken by the witch doctor was “This is a good look for me!”.

How can you argue with this type of logic?

The use of Saul Alinksy tactics/techniques by the Obama camp is on first-hand display in the rabid attempts to demonize Jerome Corsi and his new book, The Obama Nation.

This includes using massive spam e-mailings, employing even manufactured “testimonies” by asserted “Republicans” that they “decry” this “book of lies.”

The Obama Nation offers, for one thing, a huge insight into Obama’s origins and mind-set. These are rather important things to know about a POTUS candidate.
