Top Astronaut: 'Aliens Do Exist'

11:37am UK, Thursday July 24, 2008 Aliens do exist and have even contacted humans on Earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the Moon. l-alien

Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men

The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.

And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.

Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.

The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

But doesn’t the water on Mars show that to be a little off? If a planet can support water, can’t it at some point support life?

liquid water is one of the criteria among many other criteria

Anyway, I believe they found ice on Mars - not surface level liquid water.

Remember also, life does not equal technological life.

I agree, but it's even harder to imagine that NASA kept a secret for 40+ years.

LOL!!

Amazing isn't it? Just how small and inconsequential we are compared to the big picture.

I believe there could be many aliens in the bodies of politicians! How else could you account for the dems and their adoration of abortion and homosexuality. They are killing us off and going to take over when Obama becomes president! Well hell all I did was scare myself to death!!! lol No I don’t believe they’re aliens,I believe they’re demons.

The imagination of mankind is virtually limitless.
So much so that it’s popular to think there is no God and that we all got here by some monumental chain of accidents. What better way for the great deceiver than to send his own minions in the guise of super intelligent aliens from outer space?

Kind of like a talking serpent.

Some of the astronauts became big believers after going into space. It fits with this disturbing passage from Genesis 6 that no one has explained to my satisfaction - it sounds like aliens to me:

1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Even the aliens have gone downhill since pre-ancient times.

Oh, I whole heartedly agree. But, sometimes an empty bucket is just exactly that, an empty bucket.

“The sun must be much dimmer on his planet. That’s why he has to wear sunglasses.”

Don’t know why, because there are people living on the sun too:

“Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little planet that shines of an evening, called the moon? When we view its face we may see what is termed “the man in the moon,” and what some philosophers declare are the shadows of mountains. But these sayings are very vague, and amount to nothing; and when you inquire about the inhabitants of that sphere you find that the most learned are as ignorant in regard to them as the most ignorant of their fellows. So it is with regard to the inhabitants of the sun. Do you think it is inhabited? I rather think it is. Do you think there is any life there? No question of it; it was not made in vain.” (Journal of Discourses,Volume 13, Page 271, 1870)

1. Stanton Friedman handily shreds the Drake equation. See his website.

http://www.stantonfriedman.com

2. Reportedly, there are 3-4 DIFFERENT ways around the supposed speed of light challenge. Some races of ET’s have reportedly laughed uproariously when asked about it.

3. Lots of folks with PhD’s are not near as smart about such things as they think they are.

And for the same reasons, why would anybody just happen to look or come here out of this gigantic universe? I believe in life out there. I don’t believe they have come here to visit us surreptitiously. I think if they made an effort to get here......we would surely know it.

I’m sure all that dope he smoked didn’t affect his thinking in the slightest.

I don't think they mentioned his dope-smoking on his show (Cosmos). If they did I must have missed that episode. ;o)
