Let me tell you about "trickle-down" economics.

In 1980, my family was dirt-poor; we lived in a mobile home, drove an 8-year-old VW Beetle and we had almost nothing. And we (myself and my parents) voted for Reagan in November.

By the fall of 1985, we had bought a house and had driven a new car off of the showroom floor. And we did it without government handouts.

If anyone, anywhere, sneers about Reagan's economic policies, I will wipe the floor with them.

And I cannot believe that the party of Ronald Reagan has degenerated to that pack of five clowns on the stage.
