Hopefully McCain will put the Romney campaign out of its misery.

Actually you'll find that here on the FR people prefer to vote for Republicans.

McCain and Romney are running neck and neck in Michigan.

This is a pivotal moment in the race and the future of the United States.Anyone that doesn’t see this is an idiot or ignorant.

Obviously , by bashing Mitt in this close Race against McCain you help McCain which is the intent. you don’t fool me.

Fred is by far my #1 choice, but I’ll take Romney over McTraitor anyday.

I read your post again. I hate to say it, but it made even less sense the second time around.

Oh absolutely, I support Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson.

I do want to see that RINO McCain beat that absolute scumbag phony Romney.

Well Romney isn’t my first choice but if it comes down to him, Rudy, McCain or Huckabee I know who gets my vote.

“There’s been no polling for a while out of NV. Some think Romney will do well as there are a lot of Mormons in NV.”

Others think Rooty may do well there, because there is a lot of Mafia there./sarc.

Worth repeating!

In 1976 Ronald Reagan didn’t win a primary until NC in March.

Reagan came into the 1976 North Carolina primary having lost the first five consecutive primaries to Ford. The national party establishment was against Reagan, the media started to write him off, and his campaign was broke and in debt. Needless to say, the pressure to drop out of the race was nearly overwhelming. (From powerblog)

He went on to fight for the nomination on the Convention floor. He eventually lost to Gerald Ford who lost to Jimmah Carter-Chavez

1) You don’t quit this early, some things are worth fighting for, principle is worth fighting for.

2) Conventional wisdom gave us Ford as a candidate, gave us Dole as a candidate, conventional wisdom sucks sometimes.

Rush reminded his audience today that if Huck & McCain are the nominees, people will sit home and we will lose the election and the party.

Who are "we"?

Who gets the party if "we" "lose" it?

What is Rush going to say if Huck or McCain get the nomination?

I don't think anyone ever won anything by sitting at home.

I don't think anyone has ever kept anything by sitting at home either.

I say vote for your guy and if you can't, in principle, vote for the nominee in the general, then work like heck for the rest of the lower office campaigns so that your position will be even stronger the next time around. Don't get attached to or turned off by a person. Work for the party and your own ideas. If nothing else, at least gain ground on the local level.

The primary set-up is ripe for those kinds of shenanigans, no doubt about it--the interesting thing is, it doesn't happen. At least, it doesn't happen on a grand enough scale to make a real impact.

The loss of all dem dels this time around may change that, but from what I have heard in my hood (a true dem stronghold) folks are looking forward to voting uncommitted. Our tax-luvin Canadian Governor has turned a lot of people against the Witch and toward Obama. Our state has been royally screwed by one socialist liberal female. Nobody wants to see it happen to the country.

I'm not an Obama supporter by any means, but I would love to see the Witch lose to "uncommitted." We'd get to see her cry again!

1. McCAin is for Amnesty for 30 million illegals and their families back in the 3rd world.
2. McCain took away our freedom of speech with McCain-FeinGold.
3. Mcain and Romney are running neck and neck in Michigan at a make or break point in the campaign for either McCain or Romney . If McCain wins Michigan as liberals and the liberal media hope then McCain is the front runner and probably will be the nominee.

4. Those like you bashing Romney help McCain become the nomi ne which means Amnesty which will destroy the U.S.. So you are helping bring about the election of McCain,Amnesty for illegals and the destruction of the U.S.

” I don’t think anyone ever won anything by sitting at home.

I don’t think anyone has ever kept anything by sitting at home either.”

And we’ll never get a conservative voting for a RINO.
