NO one who even hints at any kind of amnesty for illegal aliens and their employers will get my vote. That, IMO, includes McCain and the rest of the top tier candidates. Unless I can write in Hunter, no one gets my vote.

These liberals have been polishing turds on FR for months!

That's becoming quite apparent on this thread.

And the sheeple are following like good little serfs

The point is that without the votes of these RINOs we would have neither Alito nor Thomas sitting on the Supreme Court.

That's a very weak point, considering that the first two were party line votes, and Roberts got about half the 'Rat votes. Sure, if those seats were held by communist 'rats, the vote would probably have gone the other way. But communist 'rat isn't the only alternative to socialist RINO. Until folks like you realise that, though, we're going to be awash in socialist RINOS.

The RINOs stood on principle in these votes

What principle? The RINOS followed party discipline.

stuck their fingers into the wind, took polls and reacted to phone calls.

Oh, really? more likely they just didn't feel like fighting a losing battle.

voting Republican at all costs in November.

All costs? Even at the cost of electing a self-so-called "republican" who's indistinguishable from a 'Rat? No, thanks. Spare me the bogey-man argument. I don't buy it any more.

Make haste from Rio Linda.

There you go again with the personal insults. And you were doing so well, there. Looks like the effort made your head explode.

Pity.

At this point there are two Republicans i won’t vote for: Huckabee and McCain. The ‘lesser of two evils’ maxim only goes so far, at least for me.

Securing the border and rule of law is not some fringe conservative issue, it’s an American issue, and that’s why I won’t forgive those who tried to betray America, including George W. Bush. If Bush ran again I wouldn’t vote for him.

Don’t think McCain will be the candidate. I still have faith that the true conservative Republicans will rule. They’re the ones who raised such a stink about Dubai Ports, Harriet Meiers appointment, immigration bill, etc., that those efforts were stopped in their tracks.

(But if he was the candidate, I’d go third-party candidate.)

Coalitions require unity. To get unity, the coalition must earn it, by not doing things that aren't at least acceptable to the major factions of the coalition. If the GOP, which is a coalition of various factions, nominates a candidate for an election whose positions (or past behavior) alienates enough of the factions, then the GOP deserves to lose. The fault lies entirely with the voters who are either too stupid, or too selfish, to back candidates that unify the coalition, instead of candidates that divide it.

That's reality. Deal with it.

I’m in the military and would never vote for anyone in todays Democrat party - period. I’d be one angry man, but I’d have to vote for McCain.

“No one...and I mean no one...is good enough for these phony conservatives.”

You could slap an “R” next to Lenin and you’d vote for him.

I personally would be happy to vote for Hunter, Thompson or Romeny. I’d hold my nose for Paul or Huckabee.

I’d do NEITHER for Juan or Trudy.

“I don’t like McCain either, I once wrote him and said I would not vote for him because of the gang of 14 and the CFR. However,my candidate is A.B. H. (anybody but Hillary)”

If the war and terrorism are the reason not to support a small-govt candidate like Paul, then why elect another open-borders weenie?

We got Roberts and Alito under a different congress, btw.

Not the one we have or will have.

I never sit out elections.

I won’t vote for McCain either.

Look at what the man has not only voted for, but what he has sponsored in the Senate. Ending “Free Speech” “Amnesty” “Taxes”?

Who needs him for those sort of “accomplishments.” We have Democrats for that sort of business.

I care about the Troops almost as much as any man I suppose, but this character is causing our Troops to be hindered in the course of their missions regularly.

You can wrap McCain in the flag and talk about patriotism all day. Frankly, the man is right now one of the most dangerous people in America for what he has done to tie the hands of our Military.

Voting for a third party candidate will all but ensure a Democrat will be POTUS - I can’t have that on my conscious

A country deserves the leaders it gets when every citizen votes their conscience.

Every person has a different conscience. Some are purists. Most have some standard of 'lesser of two evils'. Many are complete idiots.

For me, certain things are unforgivable: McCain's continual support of amnesty and denial that it is amnesty - is unforgivable.

McRino, the author of Campaign Finance Reform and leader of the removal of our 1st Amendment Rights....

How soon many on FR forget that little tidbit.

I we will never vote for him.

do you have any reason to believe mccain would nominate good judges? the blue dog dems will be our greatest hope.

Remember when GWB nominated Harriet Myers for the court? He had to listen to us complain and changed his mind. If President Hillary gets to appoint 3 or 4 really liberal, younger justices we are screwed for decades. It won't do any good for the party to go further right. The very liberal USSC will give the dims what they want.

Haven't you seen several instances of things changing when we yell loud enough? Harriet Myers and the amnesty bill come to mind for me. I guess you think President Hillary will listen when we are mad.
