Since pissant has this much clout, I think he should be put on a payroll!
If pissant has enough clout to bring down a campaign then we should have him support the other candidates! LOL!!! What a dumb theory.

They put Ron Paul (who I hate with a passion and actually do bash every chance I get) at the end podium and they try to ignore him, too. But his campaign is showing life. Not a lot of life, but a lot more than Hunter’s. It’s the difference between attracting a following and not attracting a following.
Hunter is not attracting a following. If he were capable of doing it, he’d be doing it, and the press would be powerless to stop him.

I think he was joking about pissant. Relax. Pissant’s not Hunter’s problem.
Hunter is Hunter’s problem.
My brother lives in Hunter’s district and has been voting for him for years. But my brother says this about Hunter:
“He’s not going anywhere because he hasn’t BEEN anywhere.”
To: Man50D
Hey, the theory can’t be that dumb. There have been ads run on Craig’s List for democratic activists. So there is a payroll to get on somewhere for something.

But his campaign is showing life. Not a lot of life, but a lot more than Hunters.
Do you base your perception on the socialist media, the polls or both? LOL!!!!

Hunter is running a different strategy. He said he thinks Iowa is a two man race and doesn’t see the point of wasting a lot of money there. He has ads already made and TV time already bought so he can run his ads where and when he’s ready to run them.
He’s certainly running the most positive campagn.

OK, let's review for a minute here.
SamtheMan has said nothing about any of the other candidates. Nor has he said anything disparaging about Hunter. He has merely stated that Hunter, for whatever reason, is not connecting with the electorate. And for that he is labelled, by inference, a troll.
I make a joke, NOT about Hunter, but rather about his most rabid supporter on FR, pissant. And for that I get labelled, by inference, a troll. I think Duncan Hunter is a fine man who would make a great choice for President...but he isn't going to win. That's just the reality of it. But I'm a troll now...for pointing out that many on FR think that pissant has been a royal PITA on most of the candidate threads? Geez you guys are wound WAAAAAY too tightly.

The funny thing is, Man50D, if Hunter started rising in those very same polls, if over the space of a few weeks he went from 1% to 2% then 3% then 5%, you know who would be posting the results here in FR — with exclamations of delight — you, that’s who. And pissant. And you know it. But it ain’t happenin’, ain’t gonna happen, and so you trash the polls. Fine.
For the record, if I got asked by a pollster TODAY who I support, I would say Hunter, just because he IS the most conservative and I WOULD like to give him as much of a chance as possible.
But when primary day comes around in my state, and if Thomspon still has some kind of reasonable chance of making a credible showing and Hunter is still down in the 1% range, then I tell you, I’m voting for the more ELECTABLE conservative of the two.
To: Cricket24
I agree. That is obvious.

My utmost apologies C...the troll inference came from Cripplecreek. Your posts were all kept in the spirit of fun that most of this thread has been. Again, my apologies.
