Here's Our guys jumping out in front of their march.
More IVAW traitors yapping at our guys. Free speech only for comrades says IVAW traitors.. The Iraq Veterans Against the War are modelled after and mentored by the traitors known as the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. What the VVAW did to smear the Vietnam generation of military, the IVAW is doing to smear this generation of military. Back in January, they stood by Jane Fonda and helped her smear their own comrades in arms. VFP and IVAW are two of the 4 groups "interviewed" in The Nation study that is intended to be this generation's Winter Soldier smear. It's to be a book called "Collateral Damage" and it is intended to be what allows the radical left to call this generation "baby killers". For Pete's sake, the IVAW, at the VFP convention in St Louis, elected a Sandanista as their "Chairman". Of course the also elected Cpl Adam Kokesh "Co-Chair", but on a "non-interference basis" while he's not reading his press clipings. These guys are a bunch of posers. There's a famous quote from founder Mike Hoffman, "We're the rock stars of the anti-war movemnet." That's not to say they aren't patriotic in their own way. If the clubs in Columbia Heights or Adams Morgan in DC are ever occupied by foreign troops, IVAW will defend the Wonderland Ballroom to the last beer. Party on Garth...
Just watched the local Connecticut channel and saw a police man shaking hands with someone in front of the parade. I could not tell if it was from our side.
Great job all who were involved. Will you tell us who were involved and/or see more?
If the folks on our side covered their face, I do not underatand that at all? Explain someone.
Think that was the Chief. It appeared he tried to "schmooze" both sides to avoid any conflicts and I don't have any problem with that goal.
One thing we used to announce to the tourists that were watching when a rally broke up in DC, is that what they just saw, two sides getting their message out, without violence, without arrests, doesn't happen in many places in the world and that it is the police that defend everybody's rights. If we were to get violent or infringe on their rights, we'd get arrested.
A year ago, during an IVAW/VFP/VVAW protest at the Liberty Bell, there was a striking contrast. The IVAW were dressed like punks and acted like punks. Their response to getting protested was intimidate and threaten. US Park Service Rangers had to stand in traffic to prevent violence by them.
Being the cradle of US history, a lot of active duty personnel viewed the scene. Almost to a man, they had the same thing to say, "I'm in the military to protect this country and our rights, including to do that, even though I disagree."
True heroes peacefully let the IVAW pukes have their say, while the IVAW clowns had a tantrum when they couldn't silence the counter rally.
YOu'll note from the local news video, the IVAW types were into the raised arm, cleched fist "revolutionary" salute. Posers are as posers pose.
You know that the people that protested against the war on teror are bussed in by a paid for group. We all have to remember that the Democrat Party is loud but it is not what the overall people believe in our country.
Not to the extent to which a lot of people believe, however, the recent antics of John Podesta's Center For American Progress come close.
These folks do find a way to get seed money to start bus trips, but they do collect from the riders. A few may get a "scholarship" but they collect that from the average joe, not from a foundation.
A lot of this is social for them. Most old gezzers want to got to Atlantic City. The Woodstock freaks go to protests.
They've been doing it for 40 years. They support each other. I'll go to your "Free Mumia" and you'll come to my "Fre The Cuban SPy 5" rally. 57 varieties of how to hate America. The organizers have steady gigs with radical think tanks, which of course pay no taxes, yet espuse communism that says they should contribute to the common good. Bastards.
And the overseas readers have some positive comments about it.
I was in Maine just this week on vacation and I was thrilled with the outpouring of love and support of our troops. There were American flags every where. On bogs, houses, even out in the ocean it seemed to me Maine loves their soldiers.

Doc, I'm sorry Zelig and I weren't able to attend this rally in beautiful Kennebunkport this weekend - too many family commitments here in CT.
I have to say I agree with armymarinemom's statement above. I don't understand nor like the practice of covering faces with bandanas or masks during rallies by members of "our side". The "good guy" in the photos with the mask looks like an anarchist. The message he's trying to convey with the banner (which is GREAT, by the way) gets muddled because some guy who looks like an anarchist is carrying it. It's confusing and doesn't represent our side well, IMHO.
Even if this is supposed to mock the anarchists' ritual, I don't think the message is clear, especially if you're just looking at the photos of this event, but weren't actually there to understand its context.
That being said, I do appreciate all the counter protestors who took time out of their weekend to get in the faces of the anti-war idiots in Kennebunkport (and everywhere). THANK YOU!
Wow... look at him. Does anyone know if these guys in the "Iraq Veterans Against the War" T-shirts are, in fact, actual Iraq war veterans? Just curious...
The Iraq Veterans Against the War are modelled after and mentored by the traitors known as the Vietnam Veterans Against the War.
Its been shown that few of the VVAW members were ever in Viet Nam, and many were never even in the military. I wonder if the same applies to this bunch.
How to be a anti war protester, get a short haircut, wear a cammie item (had or pants), get a t-shirt that says you are an Iraq veteran from the organizers.
In the old days all you needed was a field jacket, a peace sign necklace and long hair, only no one worn field jackets in Viet Nam.
627 candy asses using the usmcobra method which uses actual pixels in a computer generated picture to determine the size of the crowd.
Very accurate If I do say so myself and I just did.
“It was a good job at going undercover and infiltrating their march.’
LOL, know your enemy (Sun Tzu would be proud).
Excellent job.
Here's the derivation:
(1) ANSWER pledges unconditional support to "Iraq's anti-colonial resistance" i.e., those killing our troops.
(2) ANSWER are traitors.
(3) IVAW marched with ANSWER.
(4) IVAW are traitors.
Kennebunkport lost its' "what Maine is all about small town ambiance" a decades ago. Massachusetts moved in with their same sex marriage "think trough" liberals, thus consider it like a Gaza strip of unwanted occupation. ;)
The Bush compound is grandfathered there so they just live with it. Spend more time up our way with friends unbeknown to these liberal hyenas. The Bush friends could tell you some gracious stories. Have heard some first hand ones.
Thanks for all your family has done.
FTD
Bet $$ to donuts that none of those guys are vets.
Pray for W and Our Troops
What’s the URL for the story that goes with that overhead?
Great report! Excellent ‘ undercover ‘ work! I really like those violent angry faces from the ‘peace’ marchers.
We’ll see you all on Sept. 15 GOE.
