That’s right, we’ll be collecting resumes from people at stops all across the nation, so if you have any executive experience -- either as someone who ran or started your own small business, or a...

<p>They come wearing motorcycle leather and business suits. They sport crew cuts and ponytails, some wearing long un-trimmed beards, others clean shaven. They park their Harley’s, Gold Wings, and three wheelers in rows flying the Stars and Strips and the black POW/MIA flags. Many bear scars and tattoos commemorating their service in Vietnam .</p>

The idea began so simply, hatched in the heart of an injured soldier's mother. A homecoming. Terry Hardin's son, 22-year-old Army Spec. Kevin Hardin, would be back Saturday night — his first time home since a missile blew by him September 30 and lodged him at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, still, 10 months later.Terry Hardin called and e-mailed some people, who called and e-mailed more people, tapping into Forgotten Solidiers Outreach and the Patriot Guard, a biker group who more often escort hearses, plus the American Legion and their 11th District commander, David Knapp, who snapped right...

RIP Prayer Request From Mountainflower ~ TAPS ~ It is with deep sadness that I relate the following to you. On July 15 I received an email from Dan Small stating that our mutual friend, Hal Jones, has passed away after a 16-month or so battle with cancer. Hal Jones was with us in Washington, DC at Gathering of Eagles I. It was an honor to get to know him and Dan, and to stand with him as a Marshal that day in March. He has gone home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2008. He is...

Free Republic Exclusive Fred Phelps, leader of the "God-hates-faXs" movement, is planning on crashing the funeral of one of our War Dead on July 4th. Why? To spread his message of anti-homosexual SPAM in the most inappropriate way imaginable. There's a time and a place for everything. He's a publicity whore, as far as I'm concerned. Here are snips from an earlier FR Report: "A SF SGT E-5, James Stewart, will be buried in St. Petersburg, Florida on July 4, 2005. It's wholly appropriate that he be buried on our nation's birthday, because Sergeant Stewart gave his life for our...

After his unsuccessful presidential bid in 2000, Internet Al Gore pegged his net worth at about $1 million. Today, it's at least $100 million thanks to his global-warming rantings grounded in a consensus of warmists masquer- ading as scientists who are unable to prove a word of it. But even as he and his acolytes fret about runaway warming and rail against Big Oil's "obscene profits," they refuse to admit the earth has cooled by 1 F since 1998. They also don't see oil companies are doing so well because the likes of Al Gore are choking off fossil-fuel supplies...

Friday, June 27, 2008 Posted By:Catherine MoyPermalinkTHANK YOU AMERICA!!!!! We’ve topped $1.1 Million for Our Troops!!!!! It is the day after our webathon and I am still numb from the stunning, selfless generosity of America. Our historic - and risky - webathon brought together the best in high-tech Ustream.tv, stars like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Gold Star parents and thousands upon thousands of Americans who REALLY support our troops. I want to apologize for failing to get a blog up as we went last night and yesterday. So many folks were participating on line that I...

On June 3, 2008, Jodie Evans, the founder of Code Pink and an Obama Bundler went on the Conscience of Kansas Radio Show with Paul Ibbetson. During the interview, Jody Evans noted that Osama bin-Laden had a valid reason for attacking the United States on 9/11. From the interview: Jodie Evans:…”We were attacked because we were in Saudi Arabia, that was the message of Osama, was that because we had our bases in the Middle East, he attacked the United States.” Paul A. Ibbetson: “Do you think that’s a valid argument?” Evans: “Sure. Why do we have bases in the...

EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT! Written by Melanie Morgan Thursday, 05 June 2008 The rest of the country is now being notified in press releases and emails what I have been hinting at on this website for the past few days. The impossibly funny, smart, warm and intellectually driven Ann Coulter is going to join us in the live broadcast "From the Frontlines" on June 26th at HotAir.com presented by Move America Forward, UStream.tv and Kithbridge, Inc.Liberals HATE Ann Coulter. Conservatives LOVE Ann Coulter. Most folks, though, don't know a side of her that I do. Ann is unstintingly generous in giving support to...

Remember shortly before Election Day 2006 when Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) suggested that if you don't get a good education, "you get stuck in Iraq" (video available here)? Well, last month, famed horror author Stephen King was speaking in front of a group of high school students at the Library of Congress, and he virtually made the exact same statement. For those that can bear it, what follows is another in a long line of liberal media members bashing the military (embedded right, h/t Terry Ann): I don't want to sound like an ad, a public service ad on TV,...

PEQUANNOCK — Protesters bearing placards deriding anti-war "hippies" and "murderers" picketed New Jersey Peace Action's annual gathering at The Regency House Hotel on Sunday, while a former U.S. State Department official and a war dissenter spoke inside. About 20 people from a coalition of groups that support the Iraq war, including Gathering of Eagles and The Band of Mothers, stood by the hotel driveway on Route 23 and shouted "victory" to passing motorists. They were there to protest the presence of Ann Wright, a Foreign Service official who quit to protest the Iraq war, and Medea Benjamin, the founder of...

Gathering of Eagles has just announced Recruiter Appreciation Day, Saturday, May 17 or there abouts. Being a Saturday, some recruiter stations have shortened hours or are closed. Friday or Monday might be a better day. As in other Support the Troop Events, one organization steps forward to be the main coordinating organization. GoE has once again stepped up to the plate this year. Check out the GOE site for pertinent info. Hopefully no one doubles up on a Recruiter Station while one across town is neglected.

Wednesday, April 23, 2008 Peace Terrorists Assault Iraq Vet & Family, Including Wife and Teenage Son I just read this on Melanie Morgan's site, as well as a companion report on PeaceThugs.com. This is so outrageous that it should make every red blooded American's blood boil with anger. Recently, I wrote about Iraq War Vet Jason Swartout, who was assaulted by some 82 year old woman in the name of "peace." This veteran and his family have also had to endure their home being attacked on two occasions, their car vandalized and now, this past weekend, his wife and teenage...

Tuesday, April 8th brought an onslaught of tan shirts to Capitol Hill. The Vets for Freedom Heroes tour stopped in DC to allow hundreds of Vets of Iraq and Afghanistan to visit with representatives. These Vets no strangers to missions, came with a new mission; Spread the great news of the progress made by our military in the Middle East. My personal hero, my husband was among the throng of those who had served overseas. After inspiring speeches by the likes of McCain, and a host of congressional representatives and Vets, [barely covered by the press] the tan shirts spread...

I just heard from Chris Hill, Gathering of Eagles National Director. Following the 10am News Conference on Capitol Hill today, GOE visited 437 Congressional offices in support of the troops and their mission. Chris said that "probably half of the offices were happy to see us," with "one quarter apathetic and one quarter passive-aggressive." Predictably, Southern Democrats and Republicans were more typically glad to see GOE representatives. Overall, more than 200 in the House of Representatives gave a positive response to the Eagles. Vets for Freedom will be doing follow-up lobbying Capitol Hill on Tuesday, and the VFW follows...

As I am somewhat new to doing on-the-ground reporting, and I simply wanted to give these patriots in an out-of-the-way small town their due, their diligence and determination truly struck me today - below 30f, windy and on a busy street corner (Petroleum Street bridge and Front Street). Apparently this particular troop rally has been going on for quite some time (several months), and as I work nights it is quite conceivable that I could miss it (asking for a pass :-) ). Hearing and seeing about these kind of rallies going on in our major metropolitan areas is nothing...

A shadow legal body was set up by the Defense Department to manipulate the prosecutions of U.S. Marines accused of massacring Iraqi civilians in Haditha in 2005. That’s the bombshell disclosure from the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm that is representing one of the accused Marines, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani. And it could prove to be the most damning piece of evidence showing the political motivations behind the ongoing prosecutions of the Haditha Marines. “The hysteria and media firestorm over Abu Ghraib and the Pat Tillman investigations led to fear of a similar media reaction...

Cindy Sheehan barely fits into her "campaign limo," her sister's blue Hyundai Tiburon. She ducks low to avoid hitting her head on the way in, and her knees are nearly at her chest when she sits, even with the seat rolled all the way back. Traveling over the Oakland Bay Bridge, her campaign manager at the wheel--steering with one hand and scrolling through e-mails with the other--the 6-foot-tall antiwar activist turned congressional hopeful tries in vain to stretch out in the passenger seat. It's raining when they pull into a parking spot near Berkeley City College, where Sheehan is about...

Tune in tonight at 9 pm EST, and feel free to call the show and weigh in with your opinion at 646-915-9926 or 866-697-8111 (the toll free number)!

A few months ago, a day before one of the occasional marches the Capital sees demanding an end to the Iraq War, I began the descent into the Metro stop near my office, looked up, and saw a number of representatives of Code Pink standing at the railing overlooking the escalator. Or rather, I heard them first. They were screaming at the parade of commuters, at the top of their lungs and in a tone somewhere between simple frustration and righteous anger, "End the war!!!" Well, I thought, that ought to take care of things. Good work, hippies! I kid...

Chanting such slogans as "surrender is not an option" and waving American flags, a few hundred people from across the country rallied and paraded in downtown Washington yesterday to support the war. The demonstration was sponsored by Eagles UP!, an organization founded by veterans in the wake of a war protest about a year ago that drew thousands to Washington. Although small in number, the demonstrators said yesterday that they represent many others from their home towns who believe there needs to be a more vocal counterweight to the antiwar movement. "We cannot be the silent majority again," Lawrence B....

The speakers had just finished lamenting recent acts of vandalism at military recruiting centers and had opened the floor to questions at the National Press Club when peace activist Tighe Barry jumped up, took off his shirt and revealed the pink military tunic he was wearing underneath. "This is what I think of the Marine Corps!" he yelled. "The Marine Corps needs to be the peace corps!" Incensed, Kevin L. Martin rushed to the microphone. "Let me tell you something, dammit!" he hollered. "I'm a Navy veteran of seven years, and . . . you are a joke, sir! Please...

Left-Wing Anarchists and Connection to NYC Marine Recuriting Center Bombing Written by Melanie Morgan Friday, 07 March 2008 I am having a flashback. Several, in fact. Each time I write about the bombing of the Marine Recruiting center in New York City, images in my head from the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut meld together. I was there in 1983, reporting for my former employer, ABC. I spent three weeks examining terrorism up close, and it's hate filled connections to Hamas and Hezbollah. Marine Compound, Beirut 1983 I still have nightmares about the deaths of 283 Marines...

E-Ticket to D.C., Ready or Not, Here We Come Written by Melanie Morgan Wednesday, 12 March 2008 Forgive me for being redundant on this website (but since it's my own I feel 'entitled' to repeat myself.) Home News Latest Winter Soldiers II: We Won't Stand for More Lies Winter Soldiers II: We Won't Stand for More Lies Written by Melanie Morgan Monday, 10 March 2008 The country is swept up in Obama-mania, the candidate who promises immediate withdrawal from Iraq just as we are winning the war. The anger in the streets is palpable. And in the middle of election madness, the hate-filled rhetoric of the anti-war crowd has gone under the radar of the Mainstream Media. ALERT: An ugly thing is set to happen in Washington, D.C. this week. The same people who are bombing Marine Recruiting Centers...

This was forwarded to me from Colonel Riley, with the request to please pass the information on. Let’s do what we can to assist with this! Does Congress want to take an Easter break? The American People have used many different tactics to try to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have camped outside the Bush Ranch in an attempt to get a conference with the president. He refused to meet with them. The people have petitioned Congress and even changed its balance of power. Still, Congress votes to continue funding the wars, and on the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War which has killed almost 4,000 Americans and over a million Iraqis, Congress plans to be on vacation. Except that a...

Bicyle Rage Boy spews hate-America whines to Patriot Guard Rider Ted, who patiently attempts to educate him.photo by Mrs Trooprally WASHINGTON, DC, February 8, 2008— This week's FReep featured a welcome visit by two Patriot Guard Riders who had been in the Walter Reed hospital delivering hand-fashioned eagle-head canes to recovering wounded troops. As well, a youngish leftie who claimed to be a former Marine shouted hate-America slogans as he cycled by the FReep, but was directly engaged by one of the Patriot Guard and several FReepers, who patiently took the time to listen to his rant and tried to...

The improvised explosive device went off at approximately 3:45 a.m., shattering glass and twisting the building's metal frame. Some will dismiss this as just another attack on our troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. But, the attack didn't take place in the Middle East – the attack against our troops took place here on American soil. The bombing of the military recruiting center located at Times Square in New York City is still under investigation. Police report a hooded individual leaving the scene on a bike just prior to the bomb's explosion. Eight Democratic politicians received letters providing a warning of...
