The article didn’t mention Spain’s fence in Africa.

I don't know much about fence building but my experience says that "Yankee ingenuity" could build the best fence in the world in the most efficient manner at the lowest cost. Heck, we put a man on the moon using the lowest bidder.

We've been letting our 'leaders' lie to us for so long, without repercussions, it's no wonder they now treat us like stupid stepchildren. It's time to turn that around.

In a construction project that will eventually reach across 2,050 miles, hundreds of rivers and long stretches of forests ... Sections totaling about 1,550 miles have been built the past seven years.

I wish we were a wealthy powerful country like India - then we could build a fence too!

Great post.

Do you have any stories about countries that realized that their 'leaders' were traitors and so tossed them all out on their ass? I could appreciate one of those too.

I agree this whole thing is just wrong. I have also worked for corporations though, and can only imagine what it must be like working within the slow moving wheel full of bureaucracy government is all about.

I draw the line at calling my President names though. I would rather speak ill of his actions, than him personally. He's been good on trying to do the right thing for the right reasons--perhaps trusting the wrong people to do the right things sometimes; but heck, even my own family stuns me from time-to-time, and I would think I should REALLY be able to trust blood.

I know the buck stops with W, but I can also say he's just one guy and I would NEVER want his job or the hatred that people pour over him DAILY, for all the money in the world.

Re: Immigration - I'm mad as hell (at many) and am NOT going to take it any more! GET ACTIVE!!!

Here's hoping THIS wasn't their plan all along.....

Next time, how about reducing the dimensions down to 600 x 800 or something like that?

The federal government will continue to exert every possible effort to avoid building border fences. They believe the rule of law is for us and that the weasels in Washington are exempt.
