True!. The are not the same team of 2-3 years ago, but they are still a well coached team.
Sorry Colts fans, I have been watching Manning Choke in the big ones since his first year at Tennessee. While he has gotten better over the years, until he finally hoists that trophy I will fully expect him to blow the big one.
I don't have a dog in this hunt (Bills/Falcons Fan) so I am just hoping for a good game.
The Patriots had to be thinking about Dion Branch after watching Reche Caldwell. The first drop they recovered from. The second drop probably cost them 4 points and ended up being the margin of victory. Of course Brady should have saw he was not being covered sooner and the end result may have been different.

I don't live in Indianapolis (down on the IN/KY border right now), but I was 9 when the Colts came to Indy all those years ago (and I did live in Indianapolis then).
This is an exciting day for us in the Hoosier state!!
Yesterday's second half was probably one of the best QB performances in playoff history. The Colts consistantly had lousy field position and Manning managed to drive the Colts for scores time after time against a strong defense. I guess we will have to wait and see how Manning performs in his first Super Bowl, but yesterday he was the man.
Stop your crying and give thanks to the Lord for what you DON'T have........the Detroit Lions like me. Now thats unhappy!

IN Manning's defense, this year with Rhodes and Addai he has one thing he has never really had -- a true running game. Yes, Tennessee had some great backs, and Edgerrin James was a stud -- but if you look back at all the Manning "failures" in the past, one thing that will stick out is the fact that while Manning did play bad, his running game was non-existant at those times.
This time, Peyton didn't have to "Do it all" to win, and that right there just may be the key.
My thoughts EXACTLY. That was the one killer point in that drive, and it was the second one Caldwell dropped in exactly the same manner.
However, you gotta give credit to the Colts. The figured out what was going wrong for them in the first half and made the proper adjustments.

The Bears are a lock. Last time they were in a super bowl, Payton didn't get a touchdown - I predict the same thing this time around.
Wait a minute - Payton was the one of the greatest players ever, and he played for the Bears. But they were able to get another great Bears running back a touchdown - the Frig.
I don't think that I can ever root for the Bears after that...pathetic...

The best team in the NFL is the Colts or Bears to be determined in two weeks. SD lost last week. Just to let you know how things are measured.
James was a stud, but I for one was happy the as soon as the Colts let him go. James the last few years had zero pop. James managed to get a lot of yards, but they were all 3-5 yard carries. James hadn't broken many runs in years. In the Colts style offense, having a quicker back coming out of the backfield is much more dangerous.
Well yeah ... but someone would burn a penagram in your front yard. Then, the gals on the view would defend the penagram as ... art.
Same thing happened to the Colts last year. Next year may be the Bolts' year. This really did not look like the Colts year, but the defense did a complete turn around from the regular season.

Oh come on, you're just mad that Bellichek's ridiculous stinky sleeveless hoodie couldn't catch some more lucky breaks for the Pats, ala the famous "throw an interception and then recover the fumble for a lucky first-down" play, or the "inexcusable fumble but have it squirt into the end zone for an offensive lineman to fall on" play.
