My wife just called and notified me that our son-in-law just passed away.
He was 34 years old and it appears that he either had a heart attack or a stroke.
There are complications, my wife is in Flint, Michigan on business, my son-in-law passed away in Jackson, Missouri and I am in Pekin, Illinois. My wife can't get a flight to St.Louis, rent a car and get there as fast as she can by driving straight through.
I am waiting for my son and then I will drive down there and join her. None of us have had any sleep but we have to get down there to be with our daughter.

There is a continental flight leaving Flint at 6:30a arriving in st louis at 9:30a.

Thanks, I am trying to call her now to tell her that. She just arrived in Flint by car about 12 hours ago.
One more thought, Graybeard. If you are sleep deprived, please do not drive. Your daughter has enough grief to bear in the coming months.
Please consider taking a bus, train or short flight instead of driving.

Prayers to you on your loss. A family friend of ours just went through the exact same thing. He was 31 years old and had a stroke and passed away. God bless your daughter and your family. Drive safe or hope you find a flight.
