Former President Donald Trump is headed back to Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday in a triumphant return to the place where he was shot by an attempted assassin in July. "On Saturday, October 5th, 2024, President Donald J. Trump will return to Butler, Pennsylvania to hold a rally on the very same ground where he took a bullet for democracy less than three months ago," the campaign released in a statement. Trump will be joined by a number of special guests, including the family of 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, who was killed while attending the rally. Elon Musk will also attend in addition...

“Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’s brand-new VP pick, is a fanatical far-left lunatic wearing the friendly armor of hapless, bloated oaf from the sticks” — Peachy Keenan. “Normally, Western politics gives us actors who are trying to play the role of politicians. Walz is like an actor who is trying to play the role of an actor trying to play the role of a politician. Almost everything about him is just a few degrees off-centre. He’s like what would happen if you endowed Chat GPT with a human body and sent it off to campaign for political office.” —Eugyppius on Substack....

New polling numbers out of the states of Ohio and Wisconsin are very good news for Mitch McConnell and very bad news for Chuck Schumer. Panic seems to be setting in for Democrats as they see their chances of retaining control of the Senate slip from their grasp. In Ohio, Democrat incumbent Sherrod Brown is consistently polling behind his Republican rival, Bernie Moreno. RedState reported last week on polling from RMG Research that showed Moreno ahead of Brown by a 48 percent to 46 percent margin. New polling out from ActiVote confirms Moreno's lead, with the new data having Moreno sitting...

It is hypothetically possible to sit in Anytown, U.S.A., and request that a UOCAVA ballot be emailed to you, while claiming you are abroad. How long do you have to live in the United States before you can vote here? You might be surprised to learn that the answer is never. People born in other countries to parents who are U.S. citizens are themselves considered U.S. citizens and may vote in U.S. elections, even if they have never set foot in the United States and never intend to.These so-called “never resided” voters are welcome to vote absentee in all federal elections...

Polls of the 2020 presidential election were at their collective worst in 40 years. No misfire that year was more striking than CNN’s. Its final poll before the election estimated that Joe Biden held a landslide-size lead of 12 percentage points over then-President Donald Trump. That reading was down from early October 2020, when CNN reported Biden’s advantage stood at 16 points. No polling organization in 2020 reported a greater margin in the presidential race, according to the RealClearPolitics compilation of polls that year. Biden won the popular vote by 4.5 points.. So far this year, CNN’s polling in the...

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Court of Appeals is set to review Judge Scott McAfee’s decision to deny a motion to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the high-profile election interference case involving former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants. The motion, filed in January by Trump’s co-defendant and former White House staffer Michael Roman, sought to disqualify Willis due to an alleged improper relationship with former Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade. Roman’s motion also claimed that Willis financially benefited from the investigation and her connection with Wade. [snip] The Georgia Court of Appeals will not hear new...

Nikki Haley talks with a caller about the factions of the Republican Party on her new SiriusXM program: "A lot of Americans wanted to see the change that Donald Trump brought in. But what you're seeing is the MAGA movement's doing what the Tea Party did. It's starting to fringe out, and they're caring about these one-off issues that wasn't something that was thought about. That's not all of MAGA, but you're seeing it kind of fringe out. And what's concerning is you're seeing certain MAGA people not like other Republicans. And so MAGA doesn't like moderate Republicans. They don't...

Vice President Kamala Harris sided Wednesday with dockworkers who launched a massive strike this week that threatens to cripple the economy. “This strike is about fairness,” Harris said. “Foreign-owned shipping companies have made record profits and executive compensation has grown. The Longshoremen, who play a vital role transporting essential goods across America, deserve a fair share of these record profits.” Harris also threw in a barb at her opponent, accusing former President Donald Trump of making “empty promises” to workers and promising that she will “have workers’ backs” and fight for an “opportunity economy.” “Donald Trump, on the other hand,...

Flag Officers 4 America, a group comprised of more than 200 retired admirals and generals, has endorsed former President Donald Trump for reelection in a signed letter Monday stating that Trump is a "proven leader who will secure our border, repulse our adversaries, revitalize our economy and keep America safe and strong." "Today our Nation has never been more divided as the cultural war, supported by the Democratic party, divides our citizens into conflicting groups," they wrote. "Recent evidence is the widespread riots on university campuses with students and faculty supporting terrorist organizations, Hamas and Hezbollah, blatantly flying their flags...

A California mayor is defiant after Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law in direct response to the city’s attempt to secure elections. The saga began on March 5, when Huntington Beach voters weighed in and passed ballot measure 1, the Voter ID and Election Rules Amendment. According to Ballotpedia, the charter amendment authorized the city to require voter identification for elections and allowed infrastructure to support the initiative. ... In 2023, then-Mayor Tony Strickland supported the measure in the face of pressure from local and state Democrats seeking to torpedo it. “Our democracy does not work if people do not...

The Gateway Pundit has obtained a copy of the Arizona State University Police report detailing assault charges against Rebecca Kimpel, a transgender student who dumped his entire drink on Kari Lake’s daughter while she was registering voters at Arizona State University. The police report identifies the attacker as a female, but an Instagram account that links to Rebecca Kimpel’s YouTube page shows a video of the suspect, and he’s clearly a dude. Via @jockohomosexual [embedded video] The Gateway Pundit reported on the incident last week during a Greek life voter registration event on campus at ASU. Lake’s daughter, Ruby Halperin,...

In Brief: The court dismissed claims against Fani Willis in her personal capacity but kept claims in her official role. The case accuses the DA's office of not fully complying with public records requests related to Trump’s case. Fulton County remains part of the case due to its role in managing the public records portal. The DA’s office claims the lawsuit aims to remove Willis from the Trump prosecution. FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Superior Court of Fulton County and Judge Rachel Krause has made a decision related to the complaint that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her...

Newly unearthed reports contradict previous claims made by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz about his travel to China, including a claim that the Democratic vice presidential nominee traveled to China for a teaching position in 1989 during the Tiananmen Square pro-democracy protests... Walz had previously said he visited Hong Kong in “May of ’89,” weeks before the Tiananmen Square massacre in Beijing. ... But contemporaneous newspaper reports first resurfaced by the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative news outlet, place Walz in Nebraska around that time. An issue of the Alliance Times-Herald dated May 16, 1989, features a photo of Walz touring...

REAL ID was signed into law in 2005. While there is a lot of chatter about non-citizens being registered to vote, I have yet to read any story about comparing the READ ID lists in each state against the Voter Registration Rolls. It seems so obvious for the States to make these comparisons, and it seems no one even wants to talk about it. Why is it?

A federal judge ruled on Saturday that part of a Texas law that enacted new voting restrictions violated the U.S. Constitution by being too vague and restricting free speech. The ruling, made by U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez, immediately halted the state’s ability to investigate alleged cases of vote harvesting, such as the investigation into the League of United Latin American Citizens by Attorney General Ken Paxton. Before today’s ruling, a person who knowingly provided or offered vote harvesting services in exchange for compensation was committing a third-degree felony. This meant that organizers of voter outreach organizations and even volunteers...

In Evans’ case, that’s where the Seattle Times comes in. For anyone who wants to know the measure of the man, the Times did an excellent job recently of summing up a storied life and career in the service of his fellow citizens that now appears more like a memory from yesteryear rather than a reflection of Republicans in politics today. Of course, there are some good ones out there at every level of government, but over the course of my lifetime I have seen the overall quality of Republicans elected to state and national office decline. And just to...

Voters who hold Evangelical Christian beliefs are nearly twice as likely to support Republican Donald Trump as Democrat Kamala Harris, according to a newly released poll by Lifeway Research. The study found that 61% of likely Evangelical voters plan to vote for Trump, while 31% intend to support Harris. The remaining 8% either plan to vote for a third-party candidate or are undecided. In contrast, among respondents who did not identify as Evangelical, 47% expressed support for Harris, compared to 38% for Trump. The poll also found that Christian voters who attend church at least once a month were more likely to support...

My colleague Nick Arama has already addressed the stunning Gallup poll that, if true, shows a budding Republican wave building. If it is true, Donald Trump could win the national popular vote by a solid margin, by 2 to 4 points, which would result in an electoral landslide.Which means that we might be back to where we were immediately after the Trump-Biden debate, when Democrats were in grave jeopardy, up and down the ballot. Especially in the U.S. Senate. At this point, it is extremely likely that the Republicans will pick up control over the Senate. They currently have 49 seats....

A get-out-the-vote strategist is suggesting that Amish voters could influence the 2024 presidential election, saying they “could literally save western civilization in November.” Scott Pressler, who leads the political action committee Early Vote Action, which aims to “elect Republicans by mobilizing a nationwide grassroots effort for voter registration and increasing absentee and early voting,” posted on X (formerly Twitter) Saturday, urging former President Donald Trump to reach out to Amish voters in Pennsylvania. “I spoke to an Amish man last night that really wants you to come to Lancaster, PA. He said more Amish people would be able to attend...

This is one of those days when something happens and you don’t know exactly what it means, but you know it means something. I woke up this morning to find that Nancy Kassebaum, one of the few living legends left in Kansas Republican politics, had endorsed the Democratic presidential ticket of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Joining her in the endorsement statement, which was provided to Fox News Digital, were Sandy Praeger, the Kansas insurance commissioner from 2003 to 2015, and former federal appeals Judge Deanell Reece Tacha, a Kansas native appointed to the 10th Circuit Court by Ronald Reagan...
