The family of Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) does not plan to invite President Donald Trump to the senator’s funeral when the time comes, according to a New York Times report.
McCain and Trump have long had a contentious relationship, including Trump slamming McCain and insisting he was not a war hero during his 2016 campaign.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said back then, referring to the former prisoner of war. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.”
The relationship did not get better after Trump was elected, particularly after Trump mocked McCain after he voted against a key Obamacare repeal.
According to NBC, it is McCain’s wish that Trump not attend....

My aunt died from cancer this morning after fighting it for 15 years. She didn’t spend her time finding ways to make people hate her. McCain chose how he will be remembered. I will honor that decision.

I just checked Obama’s public calendar. He’s free all this week. Anytime John. Anytime at all.
It just seems to me that he is staying for a reason and I thought maybe the was hoping for the sympathy vote.
“McCain is a man of honor, his service in the U.S. armed forces.
I appreciate his service to the US in uniform.
From there it was downhill and I believe we will learn of his dark activities. By dark I mean evil.
He was certainly not remotely a conservative and helped destroy America.
And he has acted like a horses rear end during the repeal of Obamacare and on many other important occasions, undermining the President.

John McCain had rather have at his funeral, a man who has problems with the Constitution as it was written, is an Islamic sympathizer, is anti-Israel, and who went around the world apologizing for the US; over a man who is pro-America, pro-Israel, and a Patriotic Constitutionalist, who goes around the world, championing the greatness of the U.S. and her leadership?
