He was certainly not remotely a conservative and helped destroy America.
And he has acted like a horses rear end during the repeal of Obamacare and on many other important occasions, undermining the President.

He was a terrible Navy officer who would have been kicked out if not for his last name. As a POW he collaborated with the enemy and should have been tried for treason. Years later he belittled the families of MIAs, calling them liars for saying there was proof their husbands were still alive. He abruptly ended the search for POW/MIAs, knowing full well of the credible sources some might still be alive.
