I’ve been around enough white libs in my professional career in education and finance, and behind closed doors they say things about minorities, especially blacks, that are downright racist! I am reminded of the collage I saw today on 4chan. All the Trump supporters that were assaulted leaving his rallies before the election. Bleeding heads. Like I say, if a former president can mobilize the 82nd so black kids could go to school one might think a current president might do something so it is safe for people who voted for him to walk the streets. I guess I have always been a little too optimistic but I guess it’s just me.
Anyone with a shred of common sense knows that Trump bears no culpability in any of this nonsense, but that won't stop the dems and their handmaidens in the media from pushing the narrative.
Let them keep demonizing Trump supporters as "racist" just like they did during the campaign. It won't do anything to help them win back the constituencies that they lost in 2016.
The Confederacy was a Democrat creation. BLM was formed supposedly as a result the numbers of blacks being gunned down in Democrat run cities. ANTIFA was created by the Democrats who oppose Trump. How is the violence instigated by any of them President Trump’s fault?

This is the problem I am arguing about on other similar threads. The people making these protests do not represent Trump supporters, definitely do not represent Trump. But, unfortunately, it is all too easy to associate the two. Worse, like here on FR, where there are people defending the Confederate flag and it’s violent history against Americans, it only confirms what the mayor of Charlottesville and other people claim. The reality is that you cannot separate the violent history of the confederate flag and what it stands for, both today and yesterday, from the cultural values of the South. Cherish your culture and history, but put the flag away please. Do not fly it anymore than one would fly the Nazi or Islamic flag.

The whole Charlottesville thing was a put up job, very likely by Soros who has finally figured out how to play both ends, and more the right against the left, to the effect that Trump supporters will heretofore be viewed as disaffected nazis, klansman, and other ultra-rightest jerks.
Those flags even still had the creases as if they’d just been unpacked.
We’ve been played, and it’s going to be really hard to earn back whatever credibility has been stolen from us.
