Most Democrats want their party leaders to stand up to incoming President Donald Trump rather than work with him, says a new survey that reflects a deeply divided nation.
Nearly two-thirds or 65 percent of Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters agreed that congressional Democrats should stand up to the president-elect on issues important to Democratic supporters, even if it means less gets done in Washington, the Pew Research Center poll found. Just 32 percent want party leaders, who are now in the minority in the House of Representatives and Senate, to work with Trump if it means disappointing Democrats.
In a sign that underscores the countrys increasing partisanship, the survey notes that the level of Democratic support for cooperating with the president-elect today is substantially less than was Republican support for working with President Barack Obama eight years ago....

If Ryan, Mitch, Graham and MCCain stands with the Republicans then we can get things done, but with these RINOs along with some others, it just might be ‘grid lock’...
Didn’t Mitch the turtle boy re-instate the filibuster?
Good, and let there be even few or you after the 2018 midterms and all those Dems have to stand for reelection in purple and red states without Obama’s coattails to drag them across the line.
oh, yeah, that sacrilege of government shut down is now absolutely necessary...
TRUMP must INSIST on nuclear option in SENATE For LEGISLATION and Appointments.
NO WAY will American people tolerate the democrat communist minority stopping anything that needs to be done to make America great again!.
GO NUCLEAR!!!!!!
Democrats are mentally ill.
I just heard on Rush Limbaugh that the DOJ has “consent decrees” with 25 local police departments. This means that the police departments have to do what the DOJ tells them to do about “civil rights”. Think of the possibilities for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to use these to clean up the cities! “I am sorry mayor, you can have all the sanctuary city you want, but the DOJ told us to round them all up and ship them out.”
More POPCORN! Need more POPCORN!
Kind of hard to have “gridlock” when you control the House and Senate. That is, unless the Republicans want gridlock.
Nope.
Just read an article written by a lib that said his wife picked up 2 copies of the Constitution for them after Trump won the election... ha ha...Trump is still winning if libs feel the need to read the Constitution.
Their batcrap-crazy base is going to be pushing them hard to die on every hill. They are going to show their true face in a way that will turn-off large swaths of the population.
Oh My , it’s the Democrats Last Stand
Obama had his phone and a pen, but because Harry Reid dropped the nuclear option in 2013, Trump doesn’t need a phone and pen. He can have straight up votes..
Doesn’t matter what the democrat base wants. Schumer and Pelosi will do whatever they see as in their personal political best interests. And no matter what Chucky “Schmucky” Schumer and Nancy Pelosi choose to do, Trump and his team are going to steamroll them into oblivion in the first year. Another big difference, that we’ve already started to see; the Trump Administration is going to push back and fight against the dems, the media, academia and the government bureaucracy/government workers unions - (as we’re going to see shortly). I think we’re going to see a different R Party from here on out, Trumps win has stiffened leadership spines, it seems the only 2 Senators left still talking about working with democrats to “get things done in Washington” and still trying to defend Obama’s legacy are John McCain and Lindsay “Pajama Boy” Graham. Those to don’t realize it yet, but November 8th relegated them to meaningless status and if they try to stop a Conservative USSC appointee, or stand in the way of governmental reforms that bring the Feds back into Constitutional compliance, then they will get steamrolled too.

Pen and a phone baby. Your candidate opened the door.
I want DIMs to stand up...and get mowed down by the Trump Train. Bwahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
“Even if it means less gets done in Washington”
Is that even possible?
We can't lose.
