How the USC/LA Times Daybreak tracking poll works (Hillary Clinton: 42.2% Donald Trump: 43.3%)

The USC Dornsife/L.A. Times Presidential Election "Daybreak" Poll asks more than 400 people each day about their voting intentions. The poll is part of the Understanding America Study (UAS) at the University of Southern California's Dornsife Center for Economic and Social Research. Each day's poll respondents are a subset of the UAS election panel, roughly 3000 U.S. citizens who were randomly recruited from among all households in the United States. Respondents are asked three predictive questions: What is the percent chance that... (1) you will vote in the presidential election? (2) you will vote for Clinton, Trump, or someone else? and (3) Clinton, Trump or someone else will win?

Results are weighted to match demographic characteristics...

The LA Slime is to be believed? Think again. At what point is a rag such as this no longer a valid source of objective news? How many times will it take before this rag is considered a lap dog for the left? My contention is that point was crossed long ago. Pay no attention, and the sooner you don't, the sooner this worthless piece of crap will no longer exist.

I don’t believe it’s against the law to publish false polls in order to influence public opinion. Something to keep in mind. I think that is what is happening in many cases.

I believe Donald Trump is much further ahead than the MSM is admitting.

There was a recent poll which showed Hillary 12 points ahead.

And a series of other polls last weekend, in which Hillary was ahead by 3 to 5 points in all of them.

Well, clearly some of these polls can’t be right.

Ever since Obamugabe put the kiss of death on her by campaigning with her, and Slick/Lynch/Comey put the stench of death on her, she has been plunging in the polls so fast that the pollsters are having a tough time keeping up, er, down with her numbers. For instance, that 13 point poll five days ago is now 3 today.

It’s really hard to catch something in full free-fall.

Still have to consider who is counting the votes, but other than that this election should be all but over.

I have no doubt the FBI email investigation and Comey’s final announcement hurt Hillary. “Extremely careless” are not qualifications you want in a president. Likewise Hillary admitting she made a mistake was typical of Clinton moves in the past when it was obvious they had a problem.

Her internal polling has to be horrific. A few large public polls have shown her disapproval as high as 60%. Her handling of classified material will hurt her with the military and others who have security clearances. Add the two third party candidates and it will come down to whether or not the Democrats can perpetrate enough vote fraud to make up the growing loss of approval.

Careful there FRiend...it's so easy r to slip into Clinton Newspeak.

...Likewise Hillary admitting she made a mistake was typical of Clinton moves in the past when it was obvious they had a problem.....

Hillary Clinton and her minions typically keep the msm silenced until the weight of her crimes, not mistakes at all, becomes too heavy to hide.

She, with the collusion of the media gets ahead of serious confrontation by calling her crimes mistakes. Media head nodding ensues and fills papers and the air with her so called confession, burying the true nature and extent of her criminal and treasonous activities.

Thanks for pointing that out. You are correct. Hillary has a formulaic approach to avoid legal consequences.
