For the first time in the Republican primary, Reuters tracking poll shows Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) leading Donald Trump among likely voters in the Republican primaries.
This is also the first time Donald Trump hasnt led the tracking poll in 2016.
Cruz has the support of 39 percent of likely Republican voters nationwide, just ahead of Donald Trump, who has 37 percent support. Ohio Governor John Kasich is a distant third, with 23 percent support.
In the broader survey of all Republicans, rather than likely voters, Trump still has a four-point lead. This, however, is sharply down from the 28-point lead he enjoyed in the middle of March.
Trumps current support among Republican likely voters is the lowest since the end of February, when Jeb Bush, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ben Carson were still in the race. Since the race narrowed to three remaining candidates, Trump has enjoyed the support of almost half of Republican voters, or 45 percent...

“since people like Roger Stone like to seed sites like this with trolls to disrupt and try to sway people to Trump.”
Man, that’s an understatement >.< ...

I agree because they have had Trump with 30 pt leads which was a fantasy.
I do love how Trump likes to tout polls show him winning but polls that have him losing are biased, too funny.
I remember when Ben Carson pulled up to neck’n’neck with Trump ahead of Iowa for a week or two.
The GO-PEE plan is working.
Cruz started running for president the same day he started running for the senate. He’s a “true conservative” and says what we conservatives want to hear. And what’s even more fantastic is all the gopE HATE him! He’s truly one of us!
He called McConnell a liar on the floor of the senate! Finally, someone speaking the truth! Man, is he on our side!
Graham said you could kill him in the senate and not be convicted because EVERYONE in the senate hates him so much! And they hate us, too! Ain’t that grand!
He stood in the senate and said all the right things. He was the only one who tried to kill obamacare.
The media love him and the “conservative” talk show hosts praise him.
But he never really accomplished anything. Reading The Cat in the Hat has gotten us nowhere.
He says he didn’t know he wasn’t a U.S. citizen when he ran for the senate.
Then he started taking endorsements from and hiring the gopE.
McConnell’s superpac gave money to Cruz’s superpac. I don’t think McConnell hates him as much as he pretended to.
Graham endorsed Cruz and did a fundraiser for him. Apparently he doesn’t hate him so much after all.
All the right people hated him. And all the right people loved him. That does not compute.
Sarah Palin saw through him. So did Jeff Sessions and Jan Brewer and many others we conservatives love so dearly and believe in so deeply.
But, sadly, too many didn’t see and still don’t. They all wanted a “true conservative” so badly they refuse to believe they’ve been had.
I believe Cruz has been a gopE plant for the entire time. I know it hurts to admit you’ve been fooled again. But if you still believe in Cruz, you’re being played like you were in 2008 and 2012.
Cruz is not being used by the gopE. His supporters are!
Really because all the network hacks have been saying national polls are irrelevant at this stage. Of course, if they see this one they'll change their tune I bet.
Math isn't your strength. 28-4=24. It was a 24 point drop.
Maybe reading isn't your strong suit. I read it right from the article.
“This, however, is sharply down from the 28-point lead he enjoyed in the middle of March.”
From the article: "Trump still has a four-point lead. This, however, is sharply down from the 28-point lead he enjoyed in the middle of March. "
Trump has a four-point lead. He had a 28-point lead. That is a 24-point drop.
Whatever, when you have to argue whether I wrote that he lost a 28 point lead vs a 28 point drop, it’s pretty sad.
However, you are correct, your candidate only collapsed 24 points.
