The Star Tribune Minnesota Poll surveyed 800 Minnesota registered voters Jan. 18-20, 2016. Respondents were reached on both landlines (70 percent) and cell phones (30 percent). The poll has a margin of sampling error of 3.5 percentage points, plus or minus....

The real story:
Cruz would win a state that Ronald Reagan couldn’t even win; Trump would get crushed.
Rubio’s firewall?
Were you in Vietnam? Why do all my older friends in Vietnam don’t really talk about it? They saw heavy combat but got on with their life.....I know friends in wheelchairs from about 18 years old.....want my sympathy? They don’t....so why don’t you find some other hobby than always appearing on my refresh with some stupid, dingleberry comment....as for you d-bags that think i should kiss his ass because he is in a wheelchair....pack sand....I will probably be there soon...I know Jim is in a a wheelchair...he doesn’t seem to whine...He’s got balls! Screw you 2nd Div....I spent more hours of hell and stress in what i did in the military....Carry on NUB...Look it up Mr. Brilliant!
Yay! Cruz may win Texas, Minnesota, and California.
Even though to undecideds are winning in MN right now, California is within the margin of error, and Texas varies by which poll is used.
MN was the only state that didn’t vote to re-elect Reagan.
People who had never voted before came out of the woodwork to vote for their favorite celeb, and Humphrey came in a sad third. Those were interesting times.
People talk about how odd this presidential election is; to Minnesotans it is eerily familiar.
What the hell triggered that tirade? I don’t ever remember having any interaction with you in the past. What about me posting a Minnesota poll set you off?
Cruz couldn’t win Texas from what I hear. No WAY!! Trump by 20% down there.
Desperation has sunk in when Cruz supporters cling to a Star Tribune poll to make a case for their candidate. Perhaps this poll was overrepresentative of Somali immigrants in Minneapolis, but in the real world, Trump is up by 17...

I went back thru the thread too, scratching my head...
But they love rubio?
Carson 31% 50%
That is incredible. My gosh. Carson is the nicest man on Earth. I can’t imagine 50 percent hate him. What’s to hate? Disagree with him? Perhaps. Need to wake up? Definitely. Not ready for Presidency? Maybe. But hate him? No way 1/2 of America hates this man.
You’re citing an anonymous blog (overtimepolitics.com) that didn’t even exist until last month as your pollster?
It was not love - hate.
It was favorable - unfavorable.
Maybe the unfavorable number was high because they thought he was too nice a man for the position and didn’t want to see him all chewed up.
Minnesota voters, Republican and Democrat, don’t seem to like anyone, except maybe Al Franken and Jesse Ventura.
Minnesota DFLer's will guarantee a Sanders win any way with roaring cheers for his socialism promotion.
Rubio 23% ! Riiiiight! This must be because nobody but seniors have landlines anymore. And they’re probably following what Fox is pushing. I don’t watch Fox so that’s just supposition. Otherwise this whole poll is a total fabrication.
And Ted Cruz WITH FERVOR in small numbers...
Are you complaining about Minnesota values?
If just too much liquor, you'll probably be O.K. in the morning.
If it is a mental problem, sorry about that, but please cancel your voter registration.
