Ron Paul Money Bomb Exploding ($1 million @ 9:30am)
USAdaily ^ | 11/5/07 | Larry Fester

Posted on 11/05/2007 7:26:30 AM PST by traviskicks

Ron Paul's presidential campaign is getting cash infusion today from grass roots activists on the internet. The activists plan to get 100,000 people to donate $100 each, boosting the campaign by 10 million dollars in a day.

Whether the goal of 10 million dollars in a day is achieved remains to be seen. The campaign as of 10 PM Sunday night had risen just under 2.8 million for the quarter.

As of Monday, 9:30 AM Eastern time, Paul’s campaign has risen over a million dollars bringing the total to over 4.1 million for the quarter.

Paul’s campaign raised over 5 million in the third quarter and had over 5 million cash on hand at the start of this quarter.

The one day fund raising push is already a success and it hasn’t shown any signs of losing momentum. Paul’s campaign had nothing to do with the grass roots effort which makes it even more impressive.

Ron Paul voted against the Iraq war and says he will bring the troops home immediately. Paul seeks to eliminate federal income taxes and wants to reform the monetary system by authorizing competing currencies backed by gold and silver.

Paul also voted against the Patriot Act and has been an outspoken defender of the Bill of Rights.

Ali got written out and they turned Eve's lover Gordon from an underground hooch dealer into a homosexual. For that matter, they completely did away with the Fate computer, changed Susan's name to Sutler, and cleaned up Eve's background.

All detriments IMO...

Ah well... I just hope they do a batter job with Watchmen.im

Just passed $2.5M for today, $5.61M for 4Q.

I begin to think we could break $6M today, halfway to our 4Q $12M target.

Dr. Paul must be walking on air about now. What a hoot that his staff got him to recite "Remember, remember the 5th of November" a few days back.

I think RP will remember this November 5th the rest of his life.

Been up all night watching this on the internet and sending emails to the US to make sure people are sending in their donations.

Happy for RP.

Wonder how these poll spammers are sending in spammer dollars? /s

Nothing like voters really standing behind their candidate by backing it up with donations. You wonder how Huck and McCain are ahead of Paul.

"How do you know Paul choose the day because of Guy Fawlkes?"

Actually, Paul didn't choose the day. He has a campaign and a zillion or so others have a similar campaign. They chose the day, not him nor anyone in his official campaign staff. About the only thing they have in common is the desire to elect him President. That may not happen but in the meantime we're being treated to a magnificent display of grass-roots activism. It would be a shame to waste all this energy.

If Paul runs for president as a third party cnadidtate it helps the gop nominee. The cut and run candidate, Ron Paul.

No, it doesn't. It would drive a stake through the GOP and it may be possible that Paul would actually be the winner. You see, contrary to popular beliefs here, leftists and liberal organizations don't support Paul.

This is why it's silly to attack Paul. If the GOP was smart, they'd leave him alone and let him do his thing and court him when the primaries are over.

He's not running as a 3rd party or independent candidate ... yet.

"Yet" my ass. Dr. Paul has made it clear that he is not running as a 3rd party candidate.

EEE, I am only typing what the cut and paste crowds type. I am for RP and donated today. There was a post earlier about 16 year olds spamming in their parent’s basement that was giving RP all this support. Well, todays fundraiser has proven that they are not 16 year olds but every day people who want a REAL change for our country. Post I think, with out going back is in the first 25 posts.

I have been called pathedic before, but that was because I came out of the closet for RP. LOL.

Word is out from the campaign to use the ronpaul2008.com site for donations only.

Yeah, the server's still pretty snappy but they're thinking the traffic could get even heavier! I can't even imagine. Maybe to accommodate the left coast for the evening hours?

Looks like ronpaulaudio.com hit over 700 listeners. They're maxxed out on bandwidth, covering this thing.

And RonPaulGraphs.com requested that we only hit Refresh once every ten minutes. They're swamped too.

It's a Ron Paul Internet today. LOL.

Currently: $2.66M today, $5.77M for 4Q!!!

Already did.

That, and not all Ron Paul supporters are Night Owls like you and me, George.

Quite a few will shortly be getting home from their jobs, logging on, and getting out their credit cards, I expect.

People are getting off of work and school too. My prediction is that Paul will top $8 million for the 4Q so far, with roughly two more months to go. And you know there’s going to be a big post-Thanksgiving push for him, another Money Bomb set up on the day of the Boston Tea Party (Dec 16th, I think). Paul may get $20 million for the quarter, if not, he’ll easily meet his $12 million goal.

It's just amazing. But we do have 60,000 Meetup folks now. Given those numbers alone, maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.

This is a different realtime graphing site. Better on tracking daily activity. We've seen several surges today, everyone waiting to see if we're going to see a big pickup as the east coast gets off work.

Currently: $5.83 million for 4Q.

Already, it's gone to $5.844M in the last two minutes. It just doesn't stop!

Anyway, I forgot the link to the other graphing site I mentioned. Here it is: Ron Paul's Realtime Q4 Donation Statistics

even Petronski is cheering us on

Actually, Petronski's still firmly pro-Thompson, even after Thompson rejected the GOP "pro-life" party plank. Go figure!

Yah. I was just tweaking the Petro. LOL.

Gee, maybe he'll come back to celebrate when we hit $6 million.

Currently: $5.92M for Q4.

Besides, I like Fred too. I even like Mitt. And Duncan and Tanc. And I'd even vote for Huckabee in the general. My standards are so low, I only reject candidates named Giuliani.
