Dr. Paul received 208 votes (73%) for a landslide victory against Mitt Romney today at the Strafford County, New Hampshire straw poll. Romney received 26 votes. Mike Huckabee came in third with 20 votes.
Tancredo (8 votes), McCain (7 votes), Cox (5 votes), Hunter (5 votes), Thompson (5 votes), Giuliani (3 votes) and Brownback (1 vote) finished the field.
As noted earlier, Ron Paul received 216 votes for a commanding first-place finish in a straw poll today sponsored by the West Alabama Republican Assembly. Mitt Romney came in second with 14 votes.

Today my hard left cousin was talking about how great if they could get Paul nominated. He doesn’t intend to vote for him in any real election (He’s a Kucinich voter) but he thinks it would be a “real race”. The cousin plans on voting in the GOP primary race here in Michigan but democrat in the general race.
I may like a bottom rung republican but at least he’s there honestly as a real conservative.

Um...
That’s because he bought a bunch of tickets and sent his operatives in to vote. We weren’t checking residence at our picnic. Anybody that bought a ticket and showed up could vote, no matter what age they were or what state or country they came from.
If you had polled the Strafford County Republicans, you would have found Fred and Duncan in a slight lead over Mitt with Rudy and Queeg bringing up the rear.

He looks too much like "My Favorite Martian" to be elected president.

Take your advice where you wish, but there is nothing wrong with Ron Paul. There IS something wrong with the MSM and Rockefeller Republican approved candidates. You know who they are.
