That page gets Genesis 1:26-27 utterly wrong. The word they mistranslate as “humankind” is actually the Hebrew word “Adam”.
The Jews were in captivity in Babylon and then by the Medo-Persian Empire for seventy years; before that, there were plenty of pagan influences in Judah whose adherence unto led to the Judaean captivity in the first place. The so-called “androgyne” had clearly crept in from those pagan corruptions.

And while I can see some folks keeping gender out of it for spiritual reasons, most people are probably doing it to be “woke”. My former denomination started having more literature out calling God a female! (To balance against the historical patriarchy or something.)
All that said, I'll stick with the male terminology. If it was good enough for Jesus, it is good enough for me.

God clearly refers to Himself as male. 2 Samuel 7:14 makes this clear, using the word “ab” and not “em” (mother).
The word in Old English that would be translated from “ish” in Numbers 23:19 would actually be “wer”. This word still survives in modern words like “werewolf”.
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Jesus said very clearly in the Bible that angels have no gender. They have no need of gender because they are created by God, not born among themselves through sexual procreation. But this leads to the next point of reason: does God need a gender? I don’t think so. So we refer to Him as “Him” because it’s a general term for a person. To call Him a “Her” is just incorrect and probably blasphemous.
Jesus called God his “Father” so you’re right...it is good enough for me! God Bless.
God’s body is clearly spirit. He does not make mistakes about what He is; there is no ambiguity there.
Yes, it’s a silly argument anyway and matters nothing in the long run. God’s “pronouns” (how I hate wokism) are He/Him, so for all intents and purposes, God is male.
God is clearly not verbally “gender-neutral”, referring to Himself as male all throughout the Bible.
Mission accomplished in ruining the church. Then they can sell off the buildings.

The Church of England has been conforming to the world for a long time. Most of the members probably see social values as more godly than Biblical principles.
God calls Himself a Him and Father. Jesus is male in His human flesh. Does the COE really want to tell God He is wrong about His gender? Not a very smart decision
