It's not about church attendance. The C of E is the "established church" and exists for various official ceremonial functions. They are government subsidized and do not depend on donations.
Their "God" is a metaphor for British ruling class interests. Any changes represent changing fashions among their ruling class.
Any believers in Christ left long ago.

It may suggest that priests stop using the male pronouns “He” and “Him” when referring to God in some prayers, or even that they can drop the famous phrase “Our Father” from the start of the Lord’s Prayer. Changing the Lord's Prayer - which is specifically spelled out in Scripture.
Some "church" this is that this could even come up for discussion.

How does one boost church attendance by catering to 1% or less of the population?
Catering to trans or homosexuals is just a smokescreen used by athiests, their Tower of Babel to delegitimize religion and the Bible. Athiests would prefer ‘natural law’ while conveniently ignoring that natural law is, in its basest form, brutal survival of the fittest tribe and individuals within that tribe
