It's good to see that even Catholic Culture, i.e. Phil Lawler and Jeff Mirus, are realizing the "emperor" is wearing no clothes.

So what’s the Pope going to do when he realizes that no one is heeding his commandment?

And if we apologize, will that apology be accepted?
This is the big one. As if there were some central authority (like a Pope) to accept on behalf of homosexuals.

It's just a ploy to get you to humiliate yourselves.

“hould apologize to homosexuals”

And, soon to be released, exorcism rites will be more contrite and appended with its own apologies.

The Holy Father made it clear, in that remarkable statement, that he thought individual Christians, not the universal Church, had mistreated homosexuals.

That was not at all clear to me in the Pope's statement.

I don’t know what will come next, but it should be an apology to St. Thomas More and all the other martyrs.

His communication strategy is consistently -— well, I think the technical term is “argle-bargle”.

this fake pope Bergoglio is intentionally confusing in his statements. that gives him plausible deniability when the poop hits the fan. it’s his M.O. he wants confusion. he wants people to be misled. no real pope would ever be so vague and unclear on the important spiritual matters that this fake pope chooses to speak extemporaneously about.

If we apologize to homosexuals, then we must also apologize for the Bible. We must apologize for the obvious fact that the Bible condemns homosexuality. The homosexual Gestapo is like Winston in Big Brother, forcing us to say that up is down and black is white.

The Bible is but an empty shell without its wisdom and rules on sexuality—the very core of our being. Without the real Bible, we Christians become hollow shells as well. We become practicing atheists. Just as the progressive revolutionaries always wanted

Apologizing to sinners for the Word of God.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

More than once, Francis has urged Catholics, both young and old, to “go and make a mess”.

I don’t think so. I think he’s just plain evil. He had a plan and he’s now carrying it out.

He needs many prayers.

Maybe Pope Frankie will find Nero’s descendants and apologize to them for the early Christians giving those Roman lions indigestion.

Can they allow the Lord to inspire them to a better gospel presentation, one that helps them minister help to people with the “legion” of things that can make leaving a mindset of this kind of evil so difficult?

I would tend to agree that a bunch of “I’m sorry’s” would be pointless without some grasp of a better direction in which to go. And with that grasp, they are probably unnecessary.

Anyhow, in any segment of Christendom, moves that say “we care about you as an entire person, because God moves us to” will have a lot more influence than a Johnny one note message. Fault Francis as you will, but Christians shouldn’t ignore where the Holy Spirit wants to go.

And if this makes no sense to you just skip it. I don’t want this to be about me. I want it to be about God.
