Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.(Ezekiel 39:1-3)

Gog, the final representative of united Heathendom, the Agag, Pharaoh, Goliath and Nimrod, is doomed .The Divine sentence is passed,the decree has gone forth, now all but a sixth of His army shall perish on the mountains of Israel.

His mighty Bow (Missile Launching program) is destined to fail, no matter how sophisticated, The missiles He would shoot at the chosen people, will fall down upon him, The weapons he has put his trust in are doomed to failure as he is.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord.(Ezekiel 39:4-6)

God will spread a table for the ravenous vultures. They will feast upon Gog and his supporters. Kings and mighty men are doomed to lay dead, unburied in open fields, as a vast buffet for the carrion eating birds.At the same time as the guests are arriving for the marriage supper of the Lamb, The vultures will gather for the last great battle.

The unburied wicked, are a biblical metaphor for the damned. Goliath threatened to feed David’s flesh to the fowls of the air and the beasts of the field.But David replied back to Goliath, in the name of God;

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.(I Samuel 17:45-47)

How proudly do the Ayotullahs, and Mullahs of Iran blaspheme! They have waged war through terror on civilization for more than thirty years! Has Russia answered yet for her Anti-Semitism? What about the “Stans ‘ of the Caucusus, or the Sudanese who have been enslaving Christians and animists , buying and selling people as though they were so much chattel.

Turkey slaughterd a million Armenians after World War 1, and the western nations did nothing. There were roads in Turkey lined with crucifixes, on which Armenian and Greek women were stripped naked and affixed, to die in shame! Turkey has longed claimed to be moderate, but she denies the holocaust of Armenians, Greeks and Kurds. The day of the Lord draws nigh for these sinful nations.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.(Revelation 19:17-21)

This is the way that the Most High will finally sanctify and vindicate His Holy name.”He has remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness to the house of Israel, and all of the ends of the earth shall see…” the salvation of our God, in the salvation of Israel His people.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken.(Ezekiel 39:7-8)

The presence of the church (universal body of all believers) is why we aren’t seeing drastic blowback yet. To God it doesn’t make sense to stomp on the church for the sake of stomping on His resolute enemies, and He desires to illustrate His mercy through the ministering presence of His church. We have a double drama going on here, one off earth and one on earth.

Under some theological theories, a “catching up in the clouds” (some call it rapture, and this word comes from the Greek term that describes it) is to come. This will protect the church up to this point, and then things can get pretty wild.

That’s pretty standard evangelical theology.

Anyhow while the church is here, God might be pardoned for asking it to do churchy things. (I use that word “pardoned” with irony... of course God is right.)

And I can’t wait for the Rapture....this world continues to get worse by the day. I’ve had people tell me that they don’t believe in the “Rapture”....that’s their problem, but the way I look at it, I’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain and I will say “Bye” on the way out of here.

Every Christian is asked to take up the cross and give their lives to Christ. Some are to literally die and gain the highest honor. The kids at Columbine are among them.
