You work for an organization that has murdered MILLIONS of babies and you want understanding and empathy?
No she wants churches to do more to stop abortion.
Paul teaches that we treat them like pagans. What do we do with pagans?
Teach them and reach them, not kick them out.
” BE pro-life dont just say it. “
Pro-abortion activists have ran down peaceful pro-life demonstrators with automobiles.
What if a church member ran her over with their vehicle? Would that make things better?
Ah yes, everybody’s fault but yours. Carry on. (you will anyway)
Well, if my aunt had testicles she would have been my uncle.........
No longer, she quit and is a Catholic convert.

These are the words of Jesus Christ:
“18 To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.
20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.”
If Jesus was this stern with an early church, what will he say to those that have had these words of His?
In Revelations, Christ is passing judgement. You are passed the finish line at that point.
Until then, He is always appealing for our response, no matter how bad we’ve been.
There were historic churches with real judgments upon them at their time. Even if it’s an end time judgment it doesn’t make it any better for churches to follow their way.
Discipline is one of the marks of a true church. Unrepentant, disruptive members sometimes need to be removed from the body. While the goal of discipline should be restoration, sometimes a cancer needs to be cut out.
“Jesus wept” and yet,
“’Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ “I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”
“But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.
John, Luke and Matthew
If she was a member of the church, then she is claiming to have been a believer, not an unbeliever. She was arrogantly living the life of an unbeliever while pretending to be a believer. The church acted properly.
Sounds to me like a child who has murdered both parents and then wants to throw themselves on the mercy of the court because they are an orphan.
bump
he has bloody hands, she needs to stop casting blame on those against abortion
Oh heck, I’ve been kicked out of churches for a lot less than THAT!
I doubt very seriously that the church just “threw her out.” Every case of church discipline I have seen or read of had the pastor or a deacon talk to the person, then a group with the pastor in charge, then church discipline was enacted.
And I have seen every church I was a part of give to the poor in their midst, help with food and clothing, reach out with prayer and solutions. If I knew there was hunger in my group, my family did something about it.
I do not buy it. It sounds like a sob story designed to justify their actions.
