Coca-Cola’s Anti-Religious Positions
http://www.redstate.com ^ | October 30, 2014 | Erick Erickson

Yesterday, Houston Mayor Annise Parker had to withdraw her subpoenas to Christian pastors in Houston. The mayor demanded several pastors turn over the text of their sermons if those sermons mentioned homosexuality, gay marriage, the mayor, etc.

Turns out the Coca-Cola Company’s Nonpartisan Committee for Good Government gave Mayor Parker’s campaign $1000.00. But that’s not the only time Coca-Cola has supported bigotry toward religious adherents in the country.

Earlier this year in Georgia, the Coca-Cola Company joined other major corporations in opposing religious liberty legislation in the Georgia legislature. Coca-Cola, taking the side of gay rights activists, attacked the legislation and made threats to the legislatures. Coca-Cola and others funded a third party group solely forced to shut down the advance of religious liberty legislation in Georgia.

That group then went on to campaign against any candidate who supported religious freedom in Georgia. Now this group and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce are already declaring a “line in the sand.” They will aggressively oppose religious liberty in Georgia.

Between Mayor Parker and Coca-Cola’s actions in Georgia, it looks like the company has a real antipathy toward the religious in America.

I quit buying any Coca-Cola products a long time ago. For years Coke has been promoting the sodomization of America and abortion. Same way with the Ford Corporation. I wouldn't buy a new Ford if it was the only truck on the market.

They also demanded any emails, phone call records and conversations they had about the mayor and the so-called ‘equal rights ordinance’.

The Chamber of Commerce again being the enemy of America

Pepsi gives plenty to leftist causes as well:

Pretty soon, the only places we can go will be Hobby Lobby, Chik-Fil-A, and whatever the Koch Brothers own.

I thought it was the Ford Foundation...not Ford Motor Corporation that were the hardcore supporters...but granted, the vast majority of, if not all large corporations are either on board or getting on board with the agenda.

Regardless...at this rate, it won’t be long until I’m living in a mud hut drinking from muddy puddles and digging around in the dirt for grubs and roots so that I don’t inadvertently support any pro-homo agenda...

It’s getting so that even looking at a product is tacit approval of the pro-homo lobby/agenda.

It pains me to say this, but I stop at BK on Wednesday evenings after work just before our Troop meeting to get 2 double cheeseburgers for dinner...it’s about the only half decent thing worth eating for $3 and change here on base...

That “pride” Whopper may have eyed me, but I have never “eyed” that “pride” Whopper! ;^)

Let’s hear from all those freedom-loving libertarians who ‘don’t care what consenting adults do in the bedroom’ because it doesn’t affect anyone anyway.

Pepsi tastes like sh_t. Look up the Pepsico company and see who they give to and who owns stock in them.

ALL soda pop is bad for us: WAY too much sugar and it IS habit forming--NOT addictive, but habit forming.

Coca Cola also makes me really hungry, so I avoid it and the less-tastier sodas.

At least most of the global corporates support and control the politicians of both political parties.

I'll take Royal Crown, for the win.

A friend of mine was a translator in the USN... and spent time in the middle east as he was trained in all those different languages. One thing he told me is that Arabs don't drink Coca-Cola... they drink Pepsi... citing some such thing that Coca-Cola is Jew friendly... or was Jew owned or something like that.
