Already in 2007, as Bishop of Namur, Archbishop Leonard was accused of an offence against the Belgian anti-racism act for calling homosexual acts “abnormal”. In 2008 he was cleared of homophobia charges after appearing in court. In 2010, as the new archbishop of Brussels, the archbishop was targeted by homosexualist groups, and condemned by the country’s prime minister, after he said that AIDS is a consequence of risky sexual behavior, including homosexual sexual activity. Charged with the crime of homophobia and for stating the obvious truth that AIDS is a consequence of risky sexual behavior...sigh...coming soon to our country as we become more "progressive". Before long, it will be punishable by fines and/or imprisonment to say God calls homosexual acts sin and an abomination. Christians will not be permitted to own Bibles where such sections have not been redacted! We may soon see what real persecution is all about and it won't be pie and water thrown at us.
