" That’s pretty much what I’ve been saying- "

I guess we will meet at the right road eventually, lol.

I guess we are articulating it in different ways or flavors.

Be ye encouraged and comforted.

Focus not on your love for God for even Peter failed when he told Jesus that he would follow Jesus even unto death.
I am sure Peter boasted of his love for the LORD... but he failed the LORD big time, he denied Jesus 3 times.

And how all of us have failed the LORD from time to time if all of us were honest and truthful ?

Rather ?
Focus on the love that God has for you, for John knew it, for he was the disiple that Jesus loved.
Eventually the other disiples came around to knowing that, even Peter.

Remember ? when we are weak, his is made strong in our weakneses.

What the natural mind thinks in what it should do for GOD is counter intuitive to what God wants, or thinks.

For the natural mind, the human nature or the carnal mind is at emity with GOD nor can the natural mind, human nature, or the carnal mind be subject to the things of the spirit of GOD.

Focus, focus, focus not on, or boast about your love for GOD, but rather boast about, think upon the unfailing love GOD has for you.

Be ye encouraged and be ye comforted, ohh ye beloved of GOD.

Here is how God's love is manifested and perfected towards us.

I John 4:9-10:

9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Sometimes ?

God uses the simple things to confound the wise.

Sometimes ?

God uses those things that the natural mind, or the carnal mind thinks is so shilly and not worthy of talking about in " Religious Circles " .

However ?

I don't care what the " religious folk " have to say.

Sometimes ?

God speaks to us, and or teaches us in ways that the ordinary mind thinks is shilly or crazy.

Or ?

God uses things that are out of the ordinary.

Or things that we least expected.
( because man in his pride thinks he knows it all)

For example.

Have you ever heard of the true story from Japan of a truely loyal dog, a excellent standard of faithfulness, of loyalty, of a dog named " Hachiko " ?

The real dog's picture.

Hachiko

This true story and movie is a real tear jerker.... get your tissue incase someone is cutting onions.

Yes, it's a true story, and there have been 2 movies made of it.

It's a very touching and true story of a man and a dog and the dog's love, devotion, faithfullness, and loyalty to his human friend.

In the movie ?

The man, the professor finds the dog at a train station and takes him home.
After 2 years ( I think ) the professor dies, but the dog still waits at the train station for him to come home even 10 years after he died.

Yes, the dog would wait for the professor in Japan to come home riding into the station after work day after day, year after year until the dog waiting for his human friend died at the very train station the human friend found him.

What it taught me ?

It's a very tangable way to see and learn in how ?

God's unfailing love towards us,

God's unfailing faithfullness towards us even when we fail him.

Check it out in the internet.
