The relevance? Even Lds leaders claim that the Mormon Jesus and the Jesus of Christians is not "interchangeable"...IoW, He's not the same "Being."
Yeah. My Grandmother was a Backwoods Baptist. She had no use for those Missionary Baptists. All going straight to hell she always said. And don’t even ask about Catholics.
I don’t think she really even believed in Jews.
Is this available all together on a website? I’d like to link it to our article: http://www.faithfacts.org/world-religions-and-theology/ex-mormon-testimony
This must be the phase of losing where we attack our losing candidate.
So don’t leave me out.
Anyone who thought Mitt Romney was a Christian, doesn’t know Mormons or Christianity. But let me ask you this: who has conducted their lives more like a proper Christian, Obama or Romney?
(Hey, comparing people to Obama religiously can begin to make them look like Mother Teresa!)
But, hey, I didn't know you thought so highly of (a) people who think they are gods in embryo...personally, I think that's a bit much in prideful arrogance;
(b) Those who have promoted abortion for at least 18 four political campaigns...and expanded taxpayer-funded abortion in MA;
(c) Even the Mormon church owned Deseret News railed vs. him in July of 07 for being a long-time board member of Marriott -- taking in $25,000 a year -- all as Marriott raked in $ from porn... (the DesNews headline was "The nasty taint of porn")
(Not exactly your typical GoP POTUS poster boy)
Just link to FR here...tho it’ll entail 4 links...
(Not yet combined on a site)
:)
No, I don’t think highly of Mormons. I never said anything of the sort. So keep your smarmy comments to yourself.
Romney was the botom of the barrel choice of GOP candidates for me. I was not happy to see him win the GOP nomination because of his flip-flop on abortion, his status as the Father of gay marriage in the US, his support of socialized medicine, and his religion.
The only thing interesting about your post is its timing. Your’s is the first to pile on.

Wonder how many people will realize this discussion is in the religion forum.
May I ask as to what church you belong to?
I’m an evangelical
I’m an Evangelical and an Ex-Mormon.
Obama who needs to be saved, or Romney who claims he can save himself ? There is hope for Obama.
Really?
Obama is, at best, a secularist with Islamic sympathies who uses Christianity for political cover. He wants Christianity marginalized or eliminated. Obama doesn't want to be saved; he wants to be the savior.
I don’t belong to a denomination, as a result of my Mormonism, I abhor denominationalism.
I attend an independent, Evangelical, Bible believing, non-denominational church.
Evangelical covers many churches some outside of denominations.
what denomination are you? Since you are so hung up on labels.
Are you and Colofornian the same person?
