Knock down drag out open thread of all things precious to your doctrines and traditions.

Ok boys and girls here is a chance to defend what you hold dear and near to your religion. For years now I have seen threads that make statements that I do not agree with but can not respond to because they hide behind the guise of being a devotional, or a caucus, or ecumenical. So here is a chance for open debate for all things that have been closed to opposing views in the past.

There will be only two guide lines no personal attacks and no posting of numerous links in a response or making a point. If you can not argue a point don’t respond by posting links. Yes I know that it is not part of the posting religious guidelines, but this is my thread so I get to make up the rules.

I am limiting this to religion due to the fact I can not post it in both general discussion and religion.

If some one would like to start a thread like this in general discussion by starting off that they believe that Fords are better than Chevys or that Obama is better than a potato then do so. But please refrain yourselves not to bring up Fords or Obama.

One other thing if you do not post directly to me I doubt if I will know what you have said concerning a point so if you have posted to others and want my opinion then ping me. I do not have time to read all posts. With that said let the debates begin.

Nice kittehs. We had Siamese when I was growing up. I’ll get more if my hearing fails in my old age (highly probable considering the ambient noise level here).

Christmas traditions and memories last about a month for me. Mostly, it's about cramming in all the incredible Italian food that I've enjoyed every Christmas season since childhood.

Oh, and HE is the reason for the season. Merry Christmas!

Siamese ARE an acquired taste.

But I'll never have any other kind of kitteh, except maybe a Burmese, a Tonk, or an Abyssinian. The Oriental breeds are kinda nutty, but they are smarter than the average cat and SO affectionate!

I believe that the “Sons of God” of Genesis 6:4 are angels.

Try reading it with them being Neanderthals, and the daughters of men being modern (wo)men.

Yes, Oriental breeds are definitely more interesting than our underbred shorthairs :-). At least the dog has class!

This is what is called debate, which some sacred cows never get debated. To many hide behind the guise of a closed discussion which is no discussion at all. You do not have to join in, you can go to a safe discussion where no one can say anything that you consider divisive. This is an open discussion if you don’t like go to bed.

Your gender is off. Language is masculine not feminine.

You mean conservatives? ;)

You wrote "govorit angliyskuyu yazyk." It should be angliyskiy. The word laguage in Russian has a male gender.

At the end of the movie "Houseguest", Phil Hartman and Sinbad sing a bunch of fractured Christmas songs ... They should be "RM Safe" ... They're all about hamburgers. Does anybody know where to find them on the 'net, or do I have to transcribe them myself?

A year later, here you go - enjoy!
