I am just taking God at what He says. That is the power of the Bible. It's simple. It is not complicated. It is all a decision. God says what he says, and then we choose to believe it or not. I choose to believe what God says.
Here are some other verses that support II Chron 7:14.
Jer. 18:7-8 If at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will pluck up and break down and destroy it, and if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turns from its evil, I will repent of the evil I intended to do to it.
Jeremiah 29:7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
Anybody want to take a crack at this, before I do?
