Where would I be but for the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus! All that I have that is good, He has given me. All the good that He has given me, has been in spite of me! There is no good thing I can point to in my life and say, "Look, see what I have done! See what I have built! See how wise I have been!" No,, it has all been by the mercy of God that I have gotten this far. It was God's grace that got me through High school,, His grace got me through college and on through the army. By His mercy and grace, I married a woman I did not deserve. By His mercy and grace He gave me 3 wonderful children. His kindness, love and faithfulness brought me success when there should have been failure, health when there should have been sickness, and life when there should have been death!
