This article touches upon the issue of the healing of our land that is often spoken about in the Kingdom Now teaching and Dominion Theology that is so popular today. The basic tenet of this teaching is that it is the church’s responsibility to bring in God’s kingdom on this earth. Israel failed to do that and the church is failing to do it now.

Anybody want to take a crack at this, before I do?

What aspects of life is God indifferent to? Where does God have nothing to say? If you are a dispensationalist, God’s present kingdom is internal, imaginary, mystical, unreal. The Real Action happened when God ruled Israel, and will happen again in The Millenium, when God will rule genetic Israel again. Meanwhile, we’re in a parenthesis, an afterthought, a second-best mode of divine purpose, since in this era God has no relevance to the universe around us, only to those vast, expansive territories “within” the individual soul.
