KDKA radio Pittsburgh - the Rush outlet here - is blasting him this morning. Larry Richert..even sports guy Goose Goslin. They're slamming him all over the place....talking up the alleged addiction to drugs...saying his career is over...very happy about it.
Not only that they're blasting anyone who listens to Rush...the dittoheads...anyone who thinks his comment on Mcnabb wasn't racist.
Goose is saying Rush should get piled on...he's done it to everyone else (implying x42 & dems) but they couldn't respond. Time Rush gets a taste of his own medicine...can't handle it...career going down over one stupid remark...
Makes ya want to spit.

Posted this on another Rush thread but thourght I'd post this to it's won thread as well and see if any other morning shows...espeically Rush outlets are doing the same thing.
Also making fun of Dr. Laura for saying husbands need sex...woman should make husband number one priority
As far as I'm concerned when my local ratz start piling on me later today over Rush's alleged drug scandal, I'll say something like yup...everyday he sounds more and more like a Democrat. Next thing ya know we'll find he's been having sex in a closet off the EIB studio. At that point we'll know he's gone over totally to the dark side and registered democrat.

I'm more inclined to listen to Rush now. Last couple of years he has been as boring as white bread.

Last couple of years he has been as boring as white breadTotally agree. I used to tune in everyday but not for the past few years. He used to have fun with bumpers, parodies, and on the mark comments. Now he just sorta rants.

The General Manager of KDKA might want to tell these idiots
to shut their mouth since very likely, Rush's show is a big
reason for their current success.

Pittsburgh long ago ceased being relevant in the U.S. As for sports, much can be said about the Rooney Rule (fining teams who don't interview blacks for every coaching vacancy before making a hire - pretend diversity versus interviewing for talent regardless of race) and the Rooney family for having kept that no-talent @ss clown Stewart as QB for far too long. Whatever was said about McNabb could be said 10-fold about Stewart. Whatever was said about the media by Rush could be said 10-fold regarding the Rooney diversity patrol.

He used to have fun with bumpers, parodies, and on the mark comments I started listening to Rush back in summer of '90. He was very funny back then...aborting callers with a vacuum sound. I think when he went mainstream with his t.v. program and became the darling of the '94 GOP class in Congress was when everything became rather bland.

97.1 FMTalk in Detroit has two guys who have an evening sports talk show and they were jumping up and down on Rush last night, just piling on. You could picture them literally jumping up and down on Rush in effigy. I bet they would do it. It was ridiculous. One of the hosts, Rob Parker, is such a race bainting jackass most of the time, Dusty Baker deserves no mention etc...but he's black, black and annoyingly childish.
But it was pretty nauseating, pretty loud and one sided. No alternative point of view and no analysis of what it was Rush said, just a long temper tantrum. Rush forgot who he was dealing with, he should have been more clever and used some Sun Tzu on there race baiting jagoffs (the media).

Last couple of years he has been as boring as white bread. I'm glad when Rush is entertaining, but I'm not naive enough to think that's the only reason we should support him. We have few enough conservative voices and media outlets as it is.

"Totally agree. I used to tune in everyday but not for the past few years. He used to have fun with bumpers, parodies, and on the mark comments. Now he just sorta rants. "You guys apparently don't listen to him daily. I think he has been fantastic the past year. There was a period of time that he was somewhat boring, but that was a long time ago , and it didn't last very long.
Rush, is the man. He is still the man, no matter what the media says to try and bring him down.

Clinton News Network has spent the entire morning segment slamming Rush.
Payback is a bitch!
To: prisoner6
Has anyone besides me noticed that Rush has been critical of Bush lately?
Cowinky-dink? He has always been a thorn in the dem's craw.
I've been waiting for someone else to point this out, but I haven't seen it yet, so I thought I should get it out there.

What is really ripping me isn't the comments over Rush's McNabb statement. Nope, it's how they are linking that to the drug allegations, then launching on Rush's conservative philosophy and conservatives in general. Goose Goslin was saying something about how all the people who agree with Rush should be ashamed of themselves and he prays for them.
They are using this small (I think) crack in the armour to initiate a full fledged assault on conservatives in general, Rush in particular.
Ratz...the politics of peace...no hate there...go figure.

Given CNN's ratings, or lack of same I should say, nobody's seeing it.
