If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

I adopted Orion from a shelter in Canoga Park CA. She was the most beautiful, gentle spirit. I miss her. I am on my third Keeshond. They are wonderful, aren't they.
I know my Orion is in Heaven , and by my side when I need her. She was with me through my most difficult times. I can't not believe someone had thrown her on the side of the road, and she was hit by a car. No one wanted to adopt her because she limped. The shelter kept filling her papers out wrong, so they could keep her longer than they were supposed to. They and her for 1 year and were heart broken to let her go. But they did and I had her for 11 years.
My first keeshond was Keeja, second Orion, third Cassiopeia.
There is nothing that will ever take the place of my Orion. Give your girl a hug for me!

He doesn't need a drivers license as long as he stays off of public roads ~ just like you and I. :)

HEY! Speak for YOURSELF! I take my walker and go all OVER the place...!!! Got little motors on the wheels and everything.

My MIL rode her three wheeled electric cart all over Alameda for years, too. :)
I was thinking of internal combustion engines ~ I drove tractor on the farm from age nine and trucks from the age of twelve. :)
To: blackie
Well good for her, and I MEAN that. There's 4 or 5 people in my burg who ride their motorized wheel chairs all over...it's that or stay home and be alone.
One of them is my friend...she used to take her (then) smaller grandson and put him on her lap and off they'd go. Laughing all the while. Good good stuff.

Please forgive me for not pinging everyone.
I don't have a ping list on this laptop.
Thanks, Uncle Tonk, for posting the pictures, although I would have put that black box over the cowboy.
Termite, you can call me Arizona Cowboy tonight.
I'm between Tucson and Phoenix.
BG, they didn't have Internet connections outside of El Paso so I just kept driving until I found some.
I HAD to see those pictures of Logan in his little car!
Now I can sleep peacefully.
Folks, I can't describe the feeling of holding that little bundle. I know I'm blessed.
Ask Nana, though, I tried to give him a hug and kiss for everyone. I lost count at a thousand.
I'll be in Fresno tomorrow if the Lord's willing.

I would like to thank ALL of you for the kind, kind messages about my kitty.
I have read them all...some over and over...and It has been very helpful to have your support.
I wanted you all to know that I DID READ all of the comments, even though I did not respond right away. As dumb as it sounds, I would get all choked up anytime I even tried to think of what to write.
We are still missing that "dumb cat" tons and tons and just yesterday my 4 year old asked me when she was coming home. When I reminded him that she wasn't..that she was staying in heaven with God, he said, "Why? Couldn't God fix her?". So, we started that whole conversation again.
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that you are all appreciated..and the stories and poems are exactly what I needed (not to mention the PRayers)!
Thank you.
With Love,
M0sby

Guess who's 6 months old today :) Of course, the doctor says I only have an "adjusted" age of almost 3 months...
Mommy, Nana and I want to thank everyone for these past 5 months on FR that y'all have prayed for me and been with me. Truly we do pray for y'all in return. We always thank God for our blessings and in counting them, our Freeper Framily is at the top of our list.
I love all of you...... and God bless you one and all.
