"Rewarding Murder"

About 20 years ago, there was a vicious triple murder in my hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. A man, his wife, and their 11-year-old son were brutally bludgeoned to death one weekend in their own home. When the man didn’t arrive at work on Monday morning, his co-workers got worried, went to his home, and found the bodies. And they found wandering among the corpses the only survivor--a toddler, barely two years old. The little girl had been alone for two days with her murdered family.
The police investigated, the murderer was found four months later, and he eventually confessed to the crime. He also confessed to other crimes, including rapes, beatings, muggings, etc. The man committed suicide in jail a day after he was charged. This, of course, saved the city the cost of a trial, and saved the state the cost of incarcerating him until they strapped him to a gurney and gave him a final send-off far more humane than he gave to his victims.
Why am I telling you this sad story? Because the killer, one Calvin Perry, was recently turned into an award.
The Juneteenth organization, which advocates African-American freedom and achievement, decided on the 21st of June this year to create the new ''Calvin Perry Stop the Violence'' award. The organization gave the award to a local minister who was a strong supporter of Calvin Perry’s cause--but apparently not much of a supporter of the cause of the three dead victims. The real victims.
Since when is murder an achievement that is worthy of celebration? Why in the name of sanity would people name an award for peace after a man who clubbed a man, woman, and child to death in their own home?
Could it be because the victims were white?
And their killer was black?
The African-American community was all up in arms because Calvin Perry committed suicide in prison. They suspected foul play. No such evidence was ever found to substantiate that, despite several investigations, but since when have facts ever gotten in the way of a really good myth, or lie? The preachers and the community ''leaders'' and the other appeasement people in their corner were all too quick to support a dead murderer. Odd that they didn’t seem to be all that fussed about three dead honkies that their ''cause celebre'' happened to snuff.
Apparently, this new award is to recognize people who defend the rights of murderers who are incarcerated and commit suicide, and then spend time accusing the cops of offing the prisoners, in spite of all the actual evidence and an annoying thing called the truth.
So instead of honoring the victims of the murderer with an award, this organization awarded the murderer. They named an award after a killer who committed suicide, which they would rather view as a murder by ''whitey''--although all the real evidence is contrary to their feeling. They think that this honour is more important than the real victims. But since those poor dead folks are white, they don’t really count as victims, do they? After all, Caucasians can never be victims. Only minorities can be victims. Even when they’re the actual perpetrators of a crime.
I guess that those three white folks deserved it. Right?
Should black people be proud of themselves? Sure. For their individual accomplishments. If they achieve, they should feel nothing but pride, and rightly so. But when their individual accomplishments are murder, brutality, and crime, is that also a point of honour that should be recognized with an award? How many awards have been put out in the name of Ted Bundy, Charlie Manson, or John Gacy? Seen any Hitler Achievement trophies out there lately? How about a Stalin Benevolent Society? There would be a massive outcry for all of them.
And yet, there seems to be no outcry when something similar is done for a murderer who is black. Because the black guy is the real victim. Not the folks he slaughtered in their own home. Not the two-year-old little girl who was left to cry over her dead family for forty eight hours before her rescue. No, let’s feel sorry for the murderer. Let’s forget about those he killed, because they’re not important. After all, they were guilty of being white. They were guilty of being at home. That enough was provocation for their attacker, their murderer, to beat them to death. And when their killer finally found some semblance of remorse in his putrid soul, and took his own life, well that was all the white man’s fault too. Let’s immerse ourselves in the collective guilt of white men over slavery (although black slave sellers in Africa were guilty too, but to mention that little truth would be ''racist'') and assume that all crimes by blacks are permissible as retribution for their ancestors' suffering.
I’ll no doubt be branded as a racist and a hate-mongerer for what I’ve said. That’s the normal shrill response of leftists, whenever someone disagrees with their rather bizarre world view. Fine. I can live with the lies said about me. But I won’t sit silent when the truth needs to be said. I won’t just shrug my shoulders and say that something like this is acceptable. Others may wish to live a lie, but I can’t.
I guess what I’m really saying is this. After 20 years, the victims of a brutal murder have all but been forgotten. But their killer is now an award.
I know I’ve asked this question before, but what the hell is wrong with this country?

Damned good question, Doc. I have long wondered this myself. My only answer is that we have lost our way.
Allow me to defend it.
Liberals are for gun control. Gun Control led directly to the murder of 100,000,000 souls by their own governments in the 20th Century.
Liberals are for unrestricted abortion, leading to the deaths of 40,000,000 souls in the last 35 years.
Liberals are for Socialism, which inevitably leads to the economic and social decay of great nations like Russia, England, Germany, and virtually all of Africa.
Liberals oppose using "genetically enhanced" foods to feed the starving in Africa, and have convinced African leaders to agree. These "dangerous foods" have made Americans the most well-fed people on the planet, yet Liberals would rather that millions continue to starve than to inflict the "evil" fruits of technology upon them.
Definitional Disclaimer: Millions of whites (most notably teenagers) belong to Black Culture. Likewise, many blacks do not belong to Black Culture (most blacks who have successfully integrated into American Culture, a la the Cosby Show). With that disclaimer out of the way...
Black Culture openly promotes death, decay, and self-destructive habits. In Black Culture, education is eschewed and maligned in others.
Blacks have the highest rates of violent crime, virtually everywhere. While comprising only 15% of this nation's population, they are the most likely perpetrators of violent crimes against EVERY race, including their own. Even though there are 5-6 "racist whites" for every black person, that black person is more likely to be attacked by a fellow black. Black Culture's popular music (rap and hip-hop) is FAR more likely to romanticize murder, misogyny, and drug use than any constructive or even romantic ideal. It openly encourages dependence upon others, and discourages independence, creating intellectually enslaved citizens... despite its insistence that physical slavery is history's most abhorrent evil.
