A Free Republic effort to embarass Michael Moore through a comical petition urging him to go on a hunger strike in order to demonstrate his credentials as a social activist has gotten coverage in a prominent conservative website- Enter Stage Right.

Here's the blurb from ESR:

Quick Answers to Some People's Concerns

Why should we spend any time on Moore?

For the sheer fun of it. Yes, he's a non-entity. But that's the problem- we want to make him as visible as possible because the more visible he is (and associated with the Left) the more people will resent the Democrats.

Why a hunger-strike? Why not overfeed him and give him a coronary?

Overfeeding him is funny, I'll admit. But the thought of accelerating his death is a bit morbid, and I'd like to keep this light and good natured. The more we do this, the broader the appeal of the campaign.

Rice Krispie treats? Puh-leeese. It took more than snack bars to grow that many chins. Moore apparently goes on lard shake binges, and mainlines deep fat fryer grease. The Flint Blimp is not merely "fat." Sweet Holy Jesus on a pogo stick, he is fat. Profoundly, grotesquely, obscenely obese. The kind of fat that results in "reverse plumber pants" (crack in the front).

The majority of people didn't vote for Gore either, Fat Boy. However, Bush did win the majority of the Electoral College which is the only vote that counts. Moore should have gone to civics class instead of stuffing his piehole with Ding Dongs and Yoohoo in the cafeteria.
