I think they deliberated choose for Texas and California to be on one side to avoid comparison’s to real life politics and so to avoid being called political.
Those thousands of military age males crossing the border every week will have no problem eliminating any opposition to the regime.

The only problem- it won’t be the purple-hair-wearing, weak-armed, mask-wearing limpwrists who’ll be fighting us. It’ll be the military-aged men who came from China, Central and South America, Africa, and the Middle East who flooded across our border and given arms and told to spread terror.

Those organized forces of immigrant MAMs have to armed, resupplied, fed, communicated with, etc etc. Sure they can blow stuff up and conduct raids, but if we are in range, they are in range.

I don’t think leftists want secession but I do think they want to enslave the masses. Leftists cant stand when there are choices, or places for people to go to escape their control. They want to push their marxism on everyone, because if there are safe havens for hard working free people to go to, the hard working, liberty-loving, capitalist types will all flock there, and all the deadbeat socialists will be left behind and if no one is working and everyone is a leftist deadbeat on the dole, there will be no one to tax.
As Kurt said, there are 100 million armed Americasn, at least, versus however amny of those guys who cam eacross the border. And they will stick out like sore thumbs once they start doing things.

They're real goal is to have two classes: the few haves and the many have-nots. They see religion as something that empowers the lower class, thus they have to get rid of religion. That's probably how Karl Marx viewed religion as well, though he wasn't bold enough to put it like that.

Not sure about that. Many of them are here to work in agriculture, and construction, etc. Those 2 industries have huge open border lobbyists pushing for millions of workers

And the worst thing about it is, our own government is more beholden to their Paymasters in China, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia than they are to US Citizens. If Red China and their allies invade us, I'm not sure that our military would try to defend us.
I just don’t think we last much longer as a union of 50 states. I can’t say what will effect the change, but the First Republic of the United States will end and be replaced (I hope) by the Second Republic of the United States. And that will have fewer than 50 states.
completely implausible. More believable if it was Texas and Oklahoma or Texas or Florida. Still, two geographically separated states? Not likely.
